Very nice place for a night-stand or holidays. The atmosphere is very good and friendly. Rooms are clean, but I must say getting up on a second-floor bad isn't really easy. Breakfast was also okay, but because of check-out I had to hurry and that I found not good.

Typical youth hostel. We stayed inmany during last 3 weeks and this was one of the worst. We thought that the price was high for a youth hostel. A family of 6(4 children under 5) we paid 114e. In many other jugendherbergers we paid 40-50e per night. Ok place to stay but nothing special.

The staff are really very nice and make an effort to look after their guests. We found the breakfast very okay for the price. But even the best employees can't change the fact that the food in the evening is not good; they probably have far too little budget available. There is always salad but the warm food is the simplest ready-made products that taste like it. I would therefore recommend eating at the Asian restaurant at Rewe or at Burger King nearby, where you can get something better for 7 or 8 euros. Furthermore, you should definitely travel by car or be prepared for a lot of walking and long waiting times for the buses, some of which only run every 30 minutes. Of course the hostel can't do anything about that. You just have to know. The cleanliness was okay in our room but yes, everything is getting old. So you have moldy shower corners and shower heads. I don't think that's okay.I don't think we would come here again.

Let's start with the positive:The food was acceptable and the kitchen staff was very nice. However… it stops here. The rooms were acceptable, but unfortunately there was a lack of power sockets. The shelves also almost fell out of the wall. The 10 of us also had to share a shared toilet with a shower. We defecated in the shower on the second day. We also reported this directly. And instead of communicating with us rationally and professionally, we were directly identified as “perpetrators”. In the end we had to remove the feces ourselves.

The rooms are not that well designed. The beds are hard and it feels like you can't sleep in them.In short, the food is terrible.I'm never coming back here.We found the room exactly as it is in the picture
