Surrounded by nature, we felt very comfortable and relaxed at Gut Settin. Schwerin and Wismar can be reached quickly. A day at the beach on the island of Poel is also within reach. Haus Adler is in a quiet location and has an exercise area for cats traveling with you. However, it is under coniferous trees (cones, needles, resin) which our cats didn't like. They preferred to stay on the record. Restaurants and discount stores can be found within 3 - 5 km. The pizza delivery guy also comes. :-)

A beautiful manor house, the rooms all have a different theme and have been decorated with great attention to detail. The view of the lake is heavenly. Very friendly owners.

What a beautiful place for people who love nature and peace! We are thrilled 🤩. In addition to commonly known birds, we were even able to see sea eagles!The special thing about the accommodation is that we were able to take our cat with us. The Adler holiday home offers everything a cat needs and is safely fenced in, so our Bonnie could also run around freely.The equipment of the house is also perfect for human needs. A big thank you to the Oertel family, who created something wonderful here at Gut Settin. The only downside was that we had to leave again today. We could have easily endured it much longer.

The estate is quietly located directly on Lake Settiner. There is a playground, a soccer field and direct access to the lake. The apartment is very well equipped, especially the kitchen, and comfortable. Top WiFi. …

This year too, the holiday at Gut Settin was incredibly relaxing for my wife, our two cats and me. After vacationing at Gut Settin 11 times, it has become our second home. The peace, nature and the warmth of the Oertel family make you feel good. I can only warmly recommend this place and the lovely people at Gut Settin.

Small but nice hotel, equipped with beautiful (themed) rooms, a cozy fireplace room and an equally cozy dining room with a tiled stove. Behind the fireplace room there is a practical conference room. WiFi is available. The main building, which, according to the photos in the stairwell, was more or less a ruin in 1995, is located directly on Lake Settiner. A swaying footbridge leads through the reed belt to the water. Hidden away you will find beautiful places and benches with a view over the lake. There are small holiday bungalows scattered around the estate, some equipped with barrel saunas. There is also an impressive old tree, a football field with two goals, several swings and four sheep roaming freely. I was there for a three-day company workshop in January and my team and I were the only guests in the estate. We were looked after very well, warmly and discreetly by the staff and the food was always excellent. My room, the farmer's room, was extremely clean, very spacious and had a great view of the lake. I can't say anything about the price/performance ratio because my company paid for the stay :) Regardless, I can highly recommend the property, which is a two and a half hour drive from the center of Berlin. I can very well imagine spending a family vacation here.

Very idyllic location and yet not far from Schwerin. Large and beautifully landscaped property.The equipment is good and high quality, we really liked the accommodation.Unfortunately, the host was very angry that we only booked 2 houses directly with her and booked a third room via Booking. She was very unfriendly then.Plus, every little thing costs extra! Use the existing washing machine (with the detergent you brought with you)? 2€The dryer next to it? 2€Put a few logs in the fireplace to make a fire? 15€We didn't even dare to use the grills...It's a shame, actually a great place to stay, but we won't be coming back.
