I was there for a Event of the Student representation from Friday till Sunday. The Great Room for our Event was very good inclusive the Toilet which was directly attended. Only the sockets was to less. The sleeping rooms are very old and only fit the standard of a cheap hostel. But it was acceptable for sleeping only. The Breakfast wss good and the other Meals okay but nothing special, quality like a normal cafeteria. All together the Jugendherberge is a cheap possibility for an event but affords only the basic things in a acceptable quality.

The beds were like rocks... but it was at a very beautiful area near Wetzlar and it was a very nice facility and I would recommend it. There were also a lot of options for food. But some days more than others. Overall really good but maybe beds should be replaced... food was better than most youth hostiles

I actually liked the service, location and food! Unfortunately the rooms were in a very dilapidated condition. There were holes in the beds, some cupboards with and some without doors, the windows and heating in the room were broken during our school trip and the heating in the hallway leaked at least once a day.The rest was actually great and since renovation work is currently taking place and the school trip was the year before the renovation, I think it's okay. Praise to the staff, they were very nice and competent.
