When we first arrived at the hotel, they had already mixed up our reservation with another customer’s. We had booked a city-view room, which we paid extra for. However, the room we were given had a view of the back of a basketball court. I spoke to the manager about the mistake, explaining that this wasn’t the room I had reserved. Her response, with a grumpy expression, was simply, “This is the city view.” There was no apology, and they didn’t offer any alternative solutions. The staff were not friendly at all. In fact, I almost felt discriminated against by the reception staff. I was traveling with my dog and asked if they could provide a bowl for him, but they said no, even though it’s a pet-friendly hotel. Strangely, I saw another couple traveling with their dog, and they were given a bowl. I ended up buying a bowl myself—no big deal.Later, when I was heading out with my dog, I asked if they had any small plastic bags for picking up dog waste (I had seen the receptionist give one to the other couple with a dog earlier). Again, the answer was no. To make matters worse, the doorman whispered to the receptionist, and they both started laughing while glancing at me. I have no idea what they were saying, but it felt like they were making fun of me.The breakfast at the hotel was good, and we also had a nice dinner at the restaurant where the staff were very friendly. It’s unfortunate that I had to deal with such negative experiences at a 5-star hotel, especially considering I paid over €2,000 for my stay.

The hotel is located in front of Koenigallee. The nearby U-Bahn station is D-Graf-Adolf-Platz. So it's located not too far from the old town (everything is walkable IMHO).The hotel building is some kind of fancy metallic structure, with a nicely decorated ground floor and a big open space (10 floors) in the middle of the building. Everywhere in the hotel the decoration has a modern vibe. The room (I think I got an upgrade because of my hotels DOT com fidelity status) is big with modern decoration. In the entrance you will find 2 closets, one with robe / sleepers, the other with ironing stuff and a safe. Next you get a coffee station (nespresso) and a tea drawer; below is the minibar stuff. The bed is a large one with good pillow / beddings. There's a sofa near the bed  and next to it a desk with a chair. To finish with the room there's a big flat TV (some English channels) and of course a working ACIn the bathroom, I had a rain shower and a bathtub, with a classical sink and a toilet. The amenities provided are of good value (the washing product did smell very good)The hotel provides complimentary access to the spa nearby, in this facility you will find a nice pool, jacuzzi, sauna, gym etc.In conclusion, I highly recommend this hotel, I found some flaws (some nail in a bath mat not belonging to me and minibar red wine had turned bad), but overall this hotel is really good value for moneyTIP: there are 3 curtains, don't forget the first one if you want a dark room

When you first come to the hotel, it looks nice but not overwhelming. The quality of the cars parked at the entrance is a good indicator of what to expect. The online images of the lobby do not in any way convey the grandeur of the placeThe place opens up in a cavernous space, seemingly breaking at least a few laws of nature. The staff is friendly and all in fluid English.

This hotel has zero customer focus. Due to a date booking error, we were charged over €2,000 for a booking they never provided. Despite traveling with my 76-year-old father, we received no understanding or assistance when we arrived and realized the error we had made. They even tried to charge us +40% more of the original rate for the date change!!! The staff showed complete indifference to our situation and refused to offer any consideration or flexibility. I expected much better treatment from a high-end hotel.

The best, always and forever, in all its details, in all aspects, from the beginning of the hotel to the end, and the room is nothing better in terms of cleanliness, arrangement, and attention to the smallest details. And let us not forget the distinguished reception staff, who are very kind and extremely helpful. Thank you for this beautiful stay. See you next time.

Spectacular hotel. Great property. Let down by small details and one or two small issues. Our very first impression of pulling up outside, after a five hour drive, was instead of being offered valet service and our bags taken care of, we were told to drive around to the parking garage and take our own bags to our room, which I thought odd, but that is what we did.Did the same in the way out, much to the surprise of the hotel staff. Would expect more from a £500 per night hotel. However, overall we didn’t let the small details detract from our otherwise very nice stay.

Solid 3* which isn’t good enough for a 5* hotel. Everything was pretty good except two major red flags which I will go into detail about shortly. The hotel is ambient, gym usage is good and clean. The rooms are nice and spacious with good soundproofing so can’t hear other people. Breakfast was also varied and had healthy options. The two main red flags were1- whilst being in the bar the first night, I thought I saw a rat run across the floor…. I continued drinking, until I saw it again! I spoke to the bartender and he said “yeah we’ve been trying to get it for a while” LOL!2- at breakfast; every single time we were not offered coffee or tea, but the other natives were, which was quite bizarre….
