Since we had to go to the clinic area in Heidelberg,We found cheap accommodation here.Parking in front of the front door made things easier, there is a large parking lot in the immediate vicinity.The food is good, home-style and delicious.Our room was fine.The price is right too.

The Hotel Hauser has a retro charm and the landlady is happy to look after the guests. It seems a bit dark inside. The breakfast is great and offers everything you need. You will be asked if you would like an egg, as these are not available at the breakfast buffet. The good thing about it: Egg was cooked perfectly, served hot and very tasty! The room was relatively large, as was the balcony with a beautiful view.The bathroom was sparkling clean, not very modern. But big shower.The beds and bedding were just right for us, we slept well in them.The food is delicious and down-to-earth, the terrace is a place to relax, despite the plastic chairs. Wines are delicious and wholesome.There is no elevator.There is no hairdryer, but I had my own with me anyway.We felt very comfortable there for the two days.

I can't rate the hotel and restaurant, but I just tested it unplanned for humanity, which is the reason for me personally never to go there.I've been driving past this hotel/restaurant on the same day for several weeks and have already thought about going there because it looked nice and was never full at the time I was driving past (there and back). is (you could tell from the occupation of parking spaces) but today's "gesture" showed me that I will stop visiting.I am heavily pregnant and had an appointment with my midwife nearby today. Since all of the parking spaces (including the large one) were closed and occupied and the (larger) parking lot of this hotel/restaurant was the only one free, I walked into the hotel, explained my situation and politely asked if I could, as an exception, for a maximum of an hour I was allowed to leave the car there, but this was immediately refused. Of course the owners didn't have to allow it, but unfortunately humanity is probably no longer popular these days. And above all, I would also be a potential guest, whether on the same evening or another evening (at least as a thank you for the gesture). But now of course visiting is no longer an option for me.

Rooms were clean! Kept simple. Unfortunately no hairdryer in the room.Negative: Card payment > Credit cards are not accepted. Reason: “You don’t want to pay the high fees and prefer Giro cards”! And they also said “you have to specify beforehand that you want to pay by card”!So that's not possible at all, if I'm traveling for business, I want to pay with the company credit card!

Nice hotel on the market square/fairground. Parking spaces available. Clean room with balcony. Bathrooms have just been renovated (at least our room) Breakfast buffet is absolutely sufficient, everything is available: fruit 🥝🍓, vegetables 🍅🥒, as well as sausage and cheese 🧀 and much more. Tenants and staff are nice and accommodating. Hiking trails and vineyards in the immediate vicinity ⛰️🏰.

2 double rooms and 1 single room booked - all at the top - 3rd floor - no elevator - probably rarely booked: unfortunately not really clean, flies and insects on the window and in curtains. Room cool - heating in bedroom didn't warm up properly.In the room:Beds and furniture okay, mattress soft, summer bed linen embroidered with logo, . Bathroom large and bright.Remote control for TV must be borrowed from reception after deposit of 10 euros - TV cannot be used otherwise. No free WiFi - actually standard now?!Breakfast after overnight stay:Okay - unfortunately not everything is fresh. Selection okay, quantity too.Departure: Payment by EC card not possible - we found out from a notice at the restaurant entrance from the hotel. Apparently it's been like this for a long time. Price-performance ratio doesn't fit and we won't book again.

Room was reserved for 3 days, the hotel was closed upon arrival. There was a phone number on the front door, but no one answered it. After an hour we gave up in desperation and tried to find another place to stay, but everything in Schriesheim was already full. Luckily, we found an inn outside of the hotel that still had a free room. We were received very friendly there. We can only strongly advise against this hotel and actually only give it a minus 5 rating. But thank you very much and 5 stars for the inn that helped us out of trouble.
