Cute hotel in the middle of the city center. The room is nice and big and offers everything you could want. Even a coffee machine, slippers etc. The breakfast was okay, but very manageable. A little more selection and offering would certainly be a plus point here. However, I have one big negative point. And that is the bed. So either it should be so soft that you get sucked into the bed when you lie on it or the mattress is more than old. Unfortunately, I have never experienced such a bad bed in a hotel. So soft that you woke up in the morning with back pain and could hardly get out of bed. It is important to urgently check whether the mattresses need to be replaced.

Decent hotel in the middle of the city center. Location 1A. The service depends on the staff present. We had good experiences with a young blonde woman. Unfortunately, the stay was marred by the shower gel not being refilled.It's annoying when you only notice it in the shower... It's also a shame that the reception is not permanently manned during the day and the employees have other tasks to do in the house. This circumstance sometimes leads to longer waiting times.The fact that the "balcony" in our room could only be reached through a window (no door) is a bit strange.

The hotel absolutely convinced me. Large, well-furnished room, very good breakfast and friendly and courteous service. In the room there were two small bottles of mineral water and a well-equipped coffee maker.There were a few little things(!) to complain about: The mattress was a bit too soft for my taste. The view from my room on the second floor was a roof, which didn't matter to me. The shower wall wasn't completely sealed on the sides, but the consequences weren't that dramatic. Finally, the service at breakfast was great, but: If you fry a thin fried egg, you shouldn't put it on a cold plate and then take your time when it's delivered because you probably don't know who ordered it. The fried egg was excellently prepared, but unfortunately arrived almost cold. Despite all this, I have found my hotel for future stays in Oldenburg. It offers a lot more that I haven't explored before, such as a training area.

We booked the hotel for one night. We had a large room with a brand new bathroom. Everything was super clean and the location right in the city center was great. We'd love to come back. Great hotel.

Suffer relief from everything that could go wrong.At my request, I was able to rebook on site so that I was in the same building as all my friends. But I wouldn't have thought that rebooking from a loft to a double room would be so disastrous.The room smelled like a sewer, there was an indefinable stain in front of the bathroom, hair in the shower and incredibly stuffy. Since we were at an exhibition, we didn't spend long in the room. The next evening the smell became unbearable. Unfortunately they couldn't offer us another room because everything was fully booked. We were offered the opportunity to move the next day.The next day we got the junior suite (plus 10% on the total price), which was significantly better, but unfortunately it wasn't really clean either. There were stains everywhere in front of the coffee machine and unfortunately it was dusty everywhere. Next year we'll probably have to choose something else.Nevertheless, the staff was very friendly, despite difficulties.

We were at Schmizz with two people early on Friday evening. After renovation, the Herbartgang has become a real gem. Despite "through traffic" until around 7.30 p.m. in the summer, it's just beautiful. Unfortunately only 3 stars overall because the service and, in our opinion, the kitchen have deteriorated significantly in recent years. We did not receive the aperitif we ordered and nothing was done about our request/complaint. Instead of the fig cappagio we ordered, we were initially served beef cappagio. At our suggestion, the fig cappagio we ordered came. However, the plates seemed poorly prepared and did not correspond to the menu (the 2 tiny pieces of goat cheese were not spicy, no lemon dressing). The main course was okay, but mayonnaise and ketchup with the fries had to be ordered later. We decided to skip dessert instead. It's a shame, we would have expected more for these high prices.

We booked the junior suite. The room is nice and big, separate seating area with sofa, a TV for the sofa, one in front of the bed. First floor was great with a dog. Coffee maker, refrigerator and two very large wardrobes. The minus comes with the cleanliness. It's a nice, smooth floor, but it's only cleaned very superficially. Pushed the bedside table aside, lots of dust. Looking for a dog's toy under the sofa, totally dusty and old underpants??!! Oh dear. Not nice, disgusting.The location is very central in Oldenburg, in the middle of the pedestrian zone. Entrance and reception reminded me more of a B&B hotel. Interesting... We didn't use breakfast or the restaurant.No air conditioning, comfortable fan with a quiet setting. Also healthier. Open windows at night are not so good. Since the room faced the weapons range, there was a party there at night. Parking is not in the hotel, but there is a parking garage right next to it and there are discounts from the hotel.

Nice, central hotel. Unfortunately there is no air conditioning, which is something to keep in mind on hot days as there is a certain amount of noise at night due to the central city center location. Very good breakfast with personal service. Recommended.
