I am a professor of medicine and stayed at this hotel for a week for a conference. Mr. Mutlu from Hotel Cityroom caused us a lot of problems.When I left the hotel he asked me to pay for dinner and breakfast. The hotel did not offer this service. He also tried to take money from me for our project team.In the end he said if you don't pay I'll call the police. I had to pay, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to get on the plane when the police came. He gave me a receipt which I am sending a photo of.The room wasn't cleaned for a week, towels were changed once. The change of sheets and duvet cover was never done. The main door of the hotel was only open 2 times during our stay, we couldn't even find anyone to talk to.That was the worst experience I've ever had.

Booking of 3 rooms was combined into 2 rooms for invented reasons (water damage). The owner actually claims that it was requested that way…. Unfortunately, a credit for the 3rd room price came to nothing, we only got our money back as a gesture of goodwill from booking. It was then proven in court in black and white that ALL the rooms were occupied. So so much for water damage. Unfortunately, the rooms are not nearly equipped as advertised on the booking website.

A comfort room for three adults consisted of a single room with a bed nook in the mini-hallway and a place to hang a few things, two drawers, 1 chair, 1 small table. Bathroom tiny. A horrendous price was charged for this. Even the good location couldn't justify that.

Luckily we were able to find a room here for the home game at Schalke. The hotel is ideal for Schalke. Nice reception. Rooms have everything you need. Happy to come back!

Clean, functionally furnished, but not a design highlight. Very nice reception, no own parking space, but there are fairly inexpensive parking options in the area. A hairdryer would be nice, but it wasn't available. Completely overpriced at 200 euros on Schalke match day, normal rate probably around 130 euros for a double room, which is more appropriate, but is still a bit lavish. But apart from that everything is okay.

The hotel is really terrible and I don't feel comfortable at all. The room service is also terrible. The rooms are dirty and unkempt, and there are few amenities. I am very disappointed with my stay here.

Hi, I'm here from the company in this I don't know what to call it hotel, guesthouse, no idea that would be right. I've been to so many hotels because of my job, but I've never experienced anything like that. False claims and lies. I will contact the people responsible at my company and ask them to relocate. If I could give minus stars, 5 would be too few. It's even better in prison...

Just stayed in the room of a friend who was staying there for 5 minutes. Briefly music was turned up to full blast at 9 p.m. and the owner was at the door. After I significantly reduced the volume, he ordered me to turn it off completely and that I wasn't welcome as a guest. After my defiance, he called the police and told lies to incriminate me further, like I was already banned from the house.I can't recommend anyone to support this person.

Dubious, despite the cancellation made by the hotel, the credit card was charged without authorization 8 months later. Mistakes can happen, but here the company was unreasonable and refused to refund the unauthorized debit. Successful complaint to the booking portal. Reimbursement was made immediately through the portal.

My partner and I stayed at the hotel for a concert at the Veltins Arena and absolutely loved it.The owner is super helpful and the hotel is very close to the S-Bahn that leads to the arena. The rooms were also very clean.We would book a room there again and again!
