To be honest, when we booked it we had a higher quality impression. The location is nice, the sauna and swimming pool are small. The whirlpool is in the swimming pool and therefore cold. The rooms are clean but small and only the bare necessities are available. As I said, for three stars it was good, for four I would have expected more in Germany. I think the brochure looks more impressive and gives a different impression.

Unfortunately, the hotel is very old, especially the rooms and the sanitary facilities urgently need a change/replacement.Despite the fly screen, there were several animals in the room.Employees were very friendly and service-oriented. The breakfast was very good, except for the coffee. The coffee is more likely to be rated as coffee tea.Location is okay, park is great, but the street is a bit noisy

Very fine.Charging station - which unfortunately is not "watched" so we had to drive to charge the car, as the others did not move when they had finished.Really nice rooms, delicious breakfast buffet!

Unfortunately the hotel was quite disappointing. We were there for a week. The location is really good if you want to cycle a lot. That's why we booked the corresponding arrangement. But we only got the corresponding bike tours when we asked. The service at reception was cautiously friendly. We first had to inquire about the advertised offers such as swimming pools and saunas. The room was large, a bit outdated and unfortunately had a view of the parking lot. The bathroom, especially the shower, was very moldy.We had specially booked the room with a coffee bar and kettle, unfortunately there was no refilling by room service, there was no milk or sugar at all.The meal we booked was okay, but there are many restaurants in Münster where you can find plenty of alternatives.The breakfast was very good, fresh fruit and a plentiful selection of cereals etc.The big end came at the end, the bill was suddenly 30% higher than the booking confirmation.We were told we had booked an arrangement for the whole week and if we didn't eat, it would be our fault. We stood at reception and were made to look like a snail in the presence of several other holidaymakers and felt exposed.A look at the booking confirmation showed us that we hadn't booked an arrangement for a week... but we still had to pay first.Emotionally, the annual vacation was now ruined, even if the extra payment was refunded the following week, we waited in vain for the word sorry.A tip from us would be that your guests don't want to be given the feeling that they are a nuisance and your guests will also be happy in the afternoon if they can have coffee and tea in your beautiful garden.

This hotel is very nicely located.Our room/suite was large, but also very dated and not clean. This also applies to the side entrance, where there are lots of cobwebs. The carpet in the suite was dirty, as was all the furniture full of dust.The staff came across as arrogant.The breakfast is monotonous, but ok so far.When we think of a 4 star hotel, we imagine something different, which we have already seen often enough. The prices are absolutely overpriced for this hotel.

Our stay at the Park Hotel Hohenfeld did not meet our expectations, starting with the dwarf rooms and the bathroom and shower... this was continued by the catering, we were able to make a reservation in the rustic beer bar, it was nice on the terrace.. There is tarte flambée there... for which I had to wait a very long time, my wife's food had long since been eaten... after probably 50 minutes! After 50 minutes the tarte flambée finally arrived. The one that was NOT homemade was €16.50, the service seemed overwhelmed (stressed), we later talked to a waiter and were told that the hotel was suffering from a major shortage of staff, that was really noticeable over the days, at breakfast - 2 waiters for several rooms, little) after visiting the city, we came back later, at 9:20 p.m. it was no longer possible to order anything to eat, the kitchen was already closed. > luckily we still had a few souvenirs in the room. Maybe the hotel will get a second chance?!

Rooms are old and small, there is no active exhaust in the "wet room", toilet paper holders on the wall behind you, your right leg is warmed by the radiator when you sit on the toilet; There is no space.And if you feel the springs on the innerspring mattress, it's time to think about replacing itPrice/performance and the hotel's own standards don't match at all. Waiting times of over 30 minutes for drink orders. The table wasn't cleared, so we took it upon ourselves after more than an hour. Despite massive complaints, no accommodation. At least a small apology, a round, with 10 frustrated guests would have been appropriate. 250 gr. rump steak with a fatty edge for 34.90 turns out to be 180 gr. rump steak with a fatty ulcer. And someone can tell me why a pork schnitzel with fries has to cost 24.90, given that the price per kilo is less than €10 for bulk purchases.From the inside, the sauna looks as if a fire was averted just in time. The wooden wall behind the stove and the ceiling are black, the boards at the entrance are completely through and dangerous. Overall, the area with changing rooms, showers and indoor pool has the charm of a 70s swimming pool.But: The house is full, especially from groups from the area and of older ages. Maybe you become more forgiving or you're not used to anything better.For us, the price/performance/demands don't fit. Conclusion: Never again

Spacious room on the 4th floor, sofa, sofa cushions and carpet from around the beginning of the 80s, the shower room is so small that it's best to go into the room to dry off.Tolerable for a few nights but not at this premium price!For me the first and last stay.

Accommodation tax of 19% is charged on breakfast. So not €16.50 as said when checking in. In addition, not the business double room we booked was provided, but a small single room. No kettle or fridge in the room.

We had a room directly above the outside terrace of the two restaurants at the front of the hotel. When temperatures were around 30 degrees, we had to open the window because the room didn't have air conditioning.Unfortunately, we couldn't get any sleep before midnight, as there was no peace even after complaining twice to reception.From 3 a.m. truck traffic started on the nearby country road. So we couldn't get a night's sleep.The rooms on the park side are probably much easier to bear.

The interior is an outdated hotel with a good location on the outskirts of the city, ideal for cycling tours etc. But everything is clean and well maintained. Double room spacious, bathroom as well, no smells in the hotel as usual. described. Swimming pool good, breakfast above average. Free parking spaces. To recommend.
