The Landhotel Jöbstel turned out to be a stroke of luck for a city-dweller short break: in a heavenly, quiet location. Large, well-kept rooms with a view of the greenery. A small, fine breakfast buffet with regional products. A friendly boss who looked after the guests personally. Unfortunately, the much-vaunted restaurant was closed, but Waischenfeld and around are full of classic Franconian inns with solid cuisine and great beers. Waischenfeld itself is an idyllic small town - and an ideal starting point for hikes through the impressive nature of Franconian Switzerland. Also nice: you can easily reach the corner by train and bus. We just need more public transport locally. All in all, it was three extremely relaxed and relaxing days ☺️

Everything fine. We always look forward to “time out” with the Jöbstel family. Good all around - from the rooms to the service and the excellent cuisine in the evening. Small but absolutely delicious breakfast buffet with daily changing delicacies and the best, crispy (!) rolls that I have ever eaten in hotels.

For 7 days we were able to experience the hospitality, thoughtfulness, comprehensive service, warm friendliness, cleanliness throughout the house, the beautifully decorated junior suite "Schmuckkästla", the great cooking and wonderfully prepared dishes, incredibly delicious home-baked cakes, home-made jams and others Enjoy delicacies at the delicious breakfast and many other amenities at the Landhotel Jöbstel. Thank you very much again for the wonderful time with you, dear Jöbstel family!The wonderful landscape of Franconian Switzerland with many opportunities for hiking, beautiful villages and towns and mostly good weather made the holiday perfect.GLG from Nordstemmen

We came across the Hotel Jöbstel more by chance to find a few days of relaxation in Franconian Switzerland. As soon as we arrived we felt welcomed by their friendliness. The rooms are clean and functionally equipped. The food in the restaurant is simply delicious and lovingly prepared. Even one of my dining requests was fulfilled the next day, much to my surprise. This small family-run country hotel is a great gastronomic address.

We were just here to eat and loved it. As soon as you walked in, there was a very pleasant atmosphere, the service was very friendly and helpful, the food was super tasty, starting with the salad, through various main courses with fish, meat and vegetarian right up to the desert

Hello, arrived this evening.The first impression is usually the right one...🙂Very nice country hotel, very nice owners, who also use the kitchen and cook there themselves!They also have very nice staff.You immediately feel like you're in good hands.Then you sit at the table and order your dinner. . . tension. . . Is it any good?🙃 Absolutely great and I really loved the kitchen😎👍, my compliments🙋♂️The starter soup, homemade quark dumpling soup, was very tasty.The side salad was also really good. What went very well with this, the small, fine mini apple pieces in it give the palate a really small sweet taste👍 fits perfectly 🙃For the main course I chose "Zurich cream schnitzel in a spicy cheese sauce with homemade spelled egg spaetzle"....I changed it a little 🤷♂️I wanted it breaded and with fried potatoes. . .In retrospect, I would also like to try the spelled egg spaetzle, but the kitchen is closed on Fridays and Saturdays.Unfortunately there is no service for the weekend🤷♂️Continue in the text 🤭When the food was on the table in front of me, I wasn't just amazed by the taste!Schnitzel, fried potatoes and the extra sauce, see picture!👍I really liked that not everything was covered in sauce.Rarely found.Oh yes, I wanted to give my review...⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I was excited.Everything is freshly prepared and tastes really great.The rooms are pleasantly large, quiet, very clean and comfortable, see pictures :)I can absolutely recommend the Gasthof Landhotel Jöbstel⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Super friendly owner couple. Great communication. Absolutely great service. Spent very nice days there hiking and great racing bike tours, in an attached holiday apartment (next house)The restaurant is something upscale with fine food and a waitress who is second to none.THANK YOU again this way

We wanted to have dinner unannounced. With a dog you can only sit in the guest garden, which was unfortunately full. We offered to sit on a bench a little ways away and wait. We were even served a beer by the very friendly waitress and soon afterwards invited to sit at the table of two house guests. The food arrived soon and tasted wonderful. When it started to rain she even offered to drive us to our quarters. Conclusion: highly recommended!

The two of us were there for dinner. The service was very friendly and made an effort, but despite the manageable number of guests, they seemed overwhelmed and it took quite a long time. However, food tasted quite good.

For the second time in the inn we felt “Saugut” again.The area is also good for motorcycling.The catering in the house was great again.There's not a lot going on in town, but it's good for hiking.
