We spent a few wonderfully relaxing days here. The room and the entire house were very clean and well maintained. The outdoor area is also beautifully designed and there are parking spaces directly in front of the house. From the balcony we enjoyed a wonderful view of Warmensteinach. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating.PS: I find Mr. von Moor's assessment to be very cheeky. I myself have chronic pain and run with helpers. But I managed the few steps several times a day without any problems. A guesthouse is not a 5-star hotel, that should be clear.

The Riedl guesthouse is very familiar, quietly located and an ideal starting point for many hikes. The rooms are beautifully furnished with a bathroom, toilet, shower and balcony and for sports fans with Sky Business. The breakfast buffet is prepared with a lot of love, e.g. T. homemade products are served.I would choose this accommodation again at any time.

We didn't like:The rooms are in the upper part of the house and you have to carry your suitcases up 3 flights of stairs.Sky TV is advertised for our guests, but unfortunately it doesn't work! The TV is incredibly small, the antenna cable comes out of a hole in the ceiling, was it too difficult to close? In the bathroom, the faucet sprays over the basin because the sieve is blocked, which you actually notice when you clean the room!There is only a tiny possibility to put your things in the bathroom, and there is no way to do anything in the shower!The bed is from another time. At the foot end there is a disturbing board, you lie very softly and sag.We didn't book breakfast.

Super nice accommodation, great rooms.. not too modern but not too old-fashioned either!! Simply perfect, the view ahead is also amazing. Were there twice in October, always happy! The breakfast is also delicious. Only recommended

Unfortunately you can't give them more stars. They would earn it. I'm thrilled with the operators. Friendly, nice, accommodating. Mega breakfast with always changing products, everything always fresh and delicious, it couldn't be better. The room and the entire facility were well maintained and sparkling clean. The price is really cheap. I often have to do business and private work in the area and have had completely different experiences! The only thing that bothered me is the "weak" internet... but the landlords can't do anything about that. So... always happy, I can only recommend it

Large house where the innkeepers also live. Good layout, separate entrance. WiFi, Sky, parking in front of the door, quiet side street, everything very clean and cozy, small breakfast, price performance is right. If there were six stars, I would have given it six stars.

Very nice accommodation in a family business, nice hosts, clean rooms with a balcony and a wonderful view! Well located for exploring the Fichtelgebirge. The breakfast is prepared with love in a variety of ways and individual wishes are fulfilled by the friendly hostess. Highly recommended!

Were very disappointed with room number 5, it was cold, empty walls, mattress very hard, well new bedding, like pillows and blankets would also be necessary. Didn't sleep well. We didn't feel comfortable and expected more for the price. Cleanliness, well...bathroom...well...balcony, old table and chairs, something new should be put there.Maybe the other rooms are nice, but ours wasn't nice. The host is very nice, but everything else could be nicer. A pity :(

Small, cozy guesthouse with a few rooms in a quiet location and very centrally located to many of the Ochsenkopf's ski slopes and lifts. The rooms are practically furnished, warm and clean and completely sufficient. The beds are comfortable and we slept well. Every room has a balcony.The hosts are nice and the breakfast tasted very good. We can recommend the guesthouse without reservation. We would love to come back...

Room No. 1: bare walls without a single picture, sagging old mattress, 1 uncomfortable chair, 1 old armchair, an ugly little table. Overall, a poor price-performance ratio - far too expensive for the poor features.Very disappointing (hui on the outside - yuck on the inside). Experienced at the beginning of January 2022, so we could only stay 1 night, because there was absolutely no romance!

We 3 old friends met here for a hiking weekend.A cozy hostel with a very friendly owner who is always approachable and open-minded.The double rooms are highly recommended as they have a large balcony (facing north-west) with a beautiful view of the cozy town of Warmensteinach from above.That alone is the small additional charge compared to Worth a single room!The furnishings of the rooms are appropriate.No luxury, but everything functional.You can easily be woken up by the bells of the church near the house at 7:00 every day. You have to like that or get out of bed early to close the window.Breakfast in the beautiful, bright winter garden is fun.The breakfast price is cheap. The scope is absolutely sufficient to strengthen yourself for the day. Small wishes for breakfast are happily and friendly fulfilled by the housekeeper. You can choose in advance between a sweet, savory or mixed breakfast, which is then lovingly brought to the table.All in all, a good reason for us to come back soon and explore the beautiful Fichtelgebirge region from here.

We are talking about a bed and breakfast in the Fichtelgebirge. They are older rooms that are practically furnished and very clean. You immediately feel comfortable. Each room has a large balcony. The innkeepers are extremely nice and accommodating. Parking space at the house. It is extremely quiet, especially at night. Information material is available. The hygiene regulations are well adhered to. Breakfast must be selected the day before. Unfortunately there was no muesli, rye or grain rolls in the selection. We can recommend the guesthouse with a clear conscience.
