So: Sunday afternoon with 15 people for lunch (with very short notice) to be served in such a nice, friendly and courteous manner is unparalleled!!! We were all very impressed!!! Plus the incomparably low prices...where else can you get a soup and a dessert for the price of the main course??? We would like to thank them all very much and wish them continued success! The rooms are clean and completely fine. The breakfast is highly recommended and the staff is friendly and welcoming. The in-house restaurant disappointed me. The surrounding area has little to offer. I booked the hotel for just one night to split up a longer trip. It was absolutely fine for that.

The receptionist, who was also responsible for breakfast the following morning, had a sunny disposition and was very friendly. The breakfast buffet had everything you could need. The hotel is located in the middle of the city. We were very satisfied and will definitely come back again.

FANTASTIC BREAKFASTI visited the hotel as part of my big bike tour to the Baltic Sea. The single room was simple but adequately equipped; The only problem was that it was located on a very busy thoroughfare in Hof and was therefore exposed to a lot of noise.However, I have to admit that this noise could not be heard when the window was closed.But I want to highlight something much more positive.I have rarely had such a fantastic breakfast in a normal hotel as in the Hotel am Kuhbogen.I can't list it; But the owner really has everything that even the most demanding guest could want for breakfast. All of the dishes were totally fresh, of first-class quality and lovingly arranged.In which house do you get chocolates for breakfast?In this area, the Hotel am Kuhbogen is in the absolute top area and can easily compete with four-star hotels.

The best thing about the hotel is the breakfast and the staff!Based on the other impressions, I didn't think the breakfast would be so good. Really great. Everything your heart desires!!!Unfortunately the rest isn't quite as great. The hotel is a bit shabby. The room smelled of cigarette smoke, in the morning we knew where it was coming from. Someone (employee?) was smoking in the winding hallways and the smoke wafted through the house.Rooms simply furnished and bathroom too. Unfortunately, it's no use if the shower cubicle is relatively new but the drain is blocked. When you sit on the toilet you can also look at all the ceiling moldings that have come off. That's not possible; obvious deficiencies have to be remedied. The hotel is also noisy, but you can live with it for one night.What was absolutely negative, however, was that when we left the hotel to eat we noticed a homeless person sitting down in a corner. Warming up because of the snow or other activities? Anyway, it was a bit of a shock for us. Absolutely not possible!!!
