Nice country inn. Rooms are simple but cozy. The bed was very comfortable.

We celebrated our wedding here and are completely satisfied. The barn and garden are very beautiful. Everything was very professional and we had good support at all times during the preparations.The food and dessert were excellent! Our guests were thrilled!

Rating refers to the event location, I was there as a guest and have no information about packages booked etc.The location itself is quite nice, but there were some deficiencies, especially in terms of service. At the champagne reception the glasses were not refilled when they were empty. In the evening it was difficult to place a drink order because there was never a waitress available. When it was ordered, it took forever. When the food was served there was someone at the grill (we think the senior manager) who was in an absolutely bad mood and spoke unfriendly to all possible guests. There were no staff available to help cut the wedding cake. But the food and dessert tasted good. So we wouldn't want to celebrate there.

Junior's reception in the evening has a lot of room for improvement in terms of friendliness. The female service the following days was very nice during the generous breakfast and check-out. …

Brief introduction:This review is NOT generally aimed at the staff of the Langasthof Scheubel, but ONLY at its owner/boss!I think I can easily say that I/we have never in our lives felt so unwelcome and experienced such rejection at an accommodation upon arrival.With the person in question, you get the impression that he has only been doing the job for a day or that he has completely lost his way in the industry - there is no sign of hospitality here.This manifests itself in the fact that he is not able to speak directly to the guests himself, but instead lets a young, poorly German-speaking employee at the reception run into the knife every time and he waits behind the corner and in turn gives the employee instructions, instead of just asking yourself.At the end of this absurd "silent post" game, you'll be told that you're just too early and all the rooms are only ready at 2 p.m. - just bad luck!Interestingly, you are given the room key and lo and behold - the room is already ready at 1:40 p.m. - if that were the right thing to do...Unfortunately there was one bed too few, instead of a three-bed room as reserved, this was only a two-bed room.As a result, he complained to my wife that "that's what happens when the guest comes too early..." - as if the guest was also to blame for the reception giving out the wrong key.Here you get the complete impression that the guest just has to arrive, keep his mouth shut and just pay the bill - questions and requests are apparently not included in his "business model".You just feel stupid and completely out of place.If you find yourself in the dilemma of looking for accommodation in the area, I highly recommend choosing an alternative so as not to bother the owner with his presence.Simply unbelievably bad and embarrassing (according to our own employees!!!) - it's a shame that you can't give minus stars on Google, this so-called innkeeper really deserves it.So that this review doesn't just serve as a rant, I would like to end with something positive:The breakfast was very tasty and extensive and could be enjoyed in a pleasant atmosphere. Room reserved for one night on the road to Czechia. Very pleasant welcome, large, well-equipped room with a beautiful bathroom. Good restaurant and enormous breakfast buffet. An excellent address.
