I didn't spend the night there but enjoyed a delicious lunch. The dining room is very nicely designed. A decent selection of freshly prepared dishes is offered. Rouladen was tasty and gave a decent portion in a reasonable amount of time. The staff or was it the owners are very attentive and friendly.

Great accommodation! Super nice and hard-working hostess. Despite the chef's illness, she would have cooked vegetarian food for us. At breakfast our wishes were addressed very individually. Offer of a shuttle service within Steinbach.We found the rooms really beautifully furnished with love.

The two of us were hiking on the Rennsteig and arrived at the hotel completely soaked. Ms. Bauer asked us on the phone that she would be happy to pick us up in the car. The next morning we gratefully accepted this offer. Even though the chef had become ill, we still received a totally delicious and freshly prepared menu from her. The salad was amazing and we were very happy about this honest and friendly hospitality. She even gave us newspaper for our wet shoes. Our room was amazing. Very lovingly and detailedly furnished, totally comfortable!We would like to come again! Get well soon for the chef and thank you very much for the incredibly lovely hospitality! A very nice quiet hotel. Our room was spacious and nice and bright. The bathroom has a large shower. The breakfast buffet was delicious. The furnishings are antique, beautiful.

The best accommodation for the Franconian Forest Hiking Marathon 2024. Very friendly and accommodating, breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired. The facility lives up to its name; you feel like you've been transported back to times gone by.

In short: beautiful rooms for a short or long break... Delicious food, varied cuisine... Special requests are fulfilled... Service is very friendly and accommodating... There is no comparable offer in the entire region... everything is worth every cent!!! ... nice to have you here ❤️

We spent one night here on our Rennsteig hike. The dinner was freshly prepared and really excellent. The room was clean, very nice and lovingly furnished. The breakfast buffet was extensive, the rolls from the bakery. Ultimately, we would be happy to recommend you and would be happy to come back ourselves :)

Lovingly furnished room, I stayed here for two nights on business and I really liked it.Lovingly privately run country inn, the managers are super accommodating and friendly.The breakfast was excellent with a very good selection. The restaurant in the evening is also recommended with a small but recommended menu.I especially have to mention the shower with massage jets.

Very well-maintained and clean hotel with spacious parking right next to the house. The breakfast is lavish and rich and promises a great start to the day. The owner is very friendly and if you ask politely, he will do everything in his power! A big plus point for me was the availability by telephone. If I'm in the area again, I'll stop by again. Highly recommended from me as a frequent business traveler!
