The restaurant, located in the old town, offers good home-style and regional cuisine. The prices are reasonable.Due to its location in the old town, it is difficult to reach by car and there are no parking spaces directly at the inn. I can't say anything about the hotel itself as I didn't stay overnight.

We happened to walk past here and spontaneously decided to stop here for dinner. The nice lady in service still had a small table available for us in the otherwise very busy restaurant. You can get over a little waiting time if you are then served a super tasty Schäufele and a very tasty Kreefleisch. Both dishes are rich, delicately seasoned and taste great. The price is very reasonable for this performance and quality. We'll be coming back here soon!

The reception at the reception was very nice. Then we were given our room key with the note 2nd floor. Since there is no elevator, we were offered help to bring our luggage upstairs. There are a lot of stairs and they are steep and a challenge for people who are not in good health. I would definitely recommend the lower floor. The room is very small and you couldn't get to the back bed without bumping into each other. Way too tight. But what doesn't work is the window with (no) view. You look at a wall and scaffolding. So there is hardly any daylight at all. The room is pretty dark and you can't do it without turning on the light. The whole thing is very depressing. This room is not worth the money in any way. How can you allocate a room like that? We travel a lot and this room is by far the worst we have ever experienced. Too bad. The hotel itself is beautiful. It's a bit old, but it's an old hotel and that's okay. Breakfast was ok. kept pretty simple. We also had to wait for cheese, glasses, juice and a lot more on both days. Coffee was good and it was clean too. But we wouldn't visit this hotel again.

It was a nice stay in Bamberg and in the hotel. We were 10 people.Unfortunately we couldn't spend the evening in the hotel because it was closed.We would have liked to have had a room where we could hang out.Unfortunately, this was not possible for us.

Good accommodation for a stay in Bamberg, only the noise in the evening (outside seats at the restaurant opposite) is annoying until 11:30 p.m.)

Yes, the hotel met expectations when booking in terms of "hotel in the city center", "many sights within walking distance" or the obviously expected city noise. But the rest of my expectations of a city hotel were somewhat disappointed. Cleanliness: not very convincing and carpets that seemed worn out. Comfort: It would be appropriate to point out to customers that there is no lift. Luckily our room was “only” on the 1st floor. Accommodation on higher floors is quite an imposition - especially for older guests. Parking is possible - but only in an "integrated driveway" for perhaps 4 cars (in a row). The keys have to be handed in (probably because of the fire brigade), which was nowhere apparent when booking. The times for a staffed reception are given - but these are not adhered to. Breakfast is included but of very poor quality (tomatoes from the previous day served again). Otherwise I can't comment on the restaurant as it was closed at the time of our stay. I also think that this hotel doesn't meet the asking prices. Overall, I didn't have the impression that I was really welcome as a guest.

I felt very comfortable and in good hands. From the really friendly welcome, the information about hotspots in the city, the breakfast in the morning and the clean and rustic rooms, everything was great. I would like to come back to a nice hotel in the middle of the center with an inn. Gladly again and highly recommended.
