An ideal hotel for family celebrations.This was our second time here for our annual family reunion. Absolutely ideal for 30-40 people. The hotel is a bit out of the way so that the children can be outside without having to worry. The super beautiful garden area is set up in terraces so that you can sit together but also separate yourself a bit. If it gets too cold outside, there is a spacious room inside for a cozy end to the day.Even though the evenings were getting longer and longer, you didn't notice anything in the rooms.The service and breakfast were great. Wishes were easily fulfilled. Many thanks to Tanja and Agatha for the great stay.We'll definitely come back.

We were really excited - great, newly renovated room - great breakfast buffet and really very friendly.Ideal starting point for hiking, cycling tours and excursions around Bamberg and Franconian Switzerland.Located directly on the 13 Breweries Beer Hiking Trail 👍🏻

On our return trip to Enschede, we spent a night here.We received a very friendly welcome. The room was fine as were the beds. The breakfast was very extensive and delicious. What a pity that this hotel suffered from a serious shortage of staff. We hope for better times for this hotel. What this deserves.

Nice hotel and super friendly staff. The breakfast was also very tasty and there was plenty of choice.Even if you arrive late, the staff will do their best on the phone and by email and will try to find the best solution together.Overall, the hotel is highly recommended and we had a very nice stay.

Unfortunately, we didn't find our stay at the Landhaus Lohntal very pleasant.We found the reception to be "handled quickly", there was definitely a lack of warmth here, and our room didn't reflect what we thought was a very high price for overnight accommodation with breakfast of over €130.Except for the renovated bathroom, our room was very outdated, the internet didn't work at all and annoying noises could be heard constantly at night. Overall it was very noisy.The breakfast was very tasty with good products, but there is not enough staff to keep the buffet running when, as was the case during our stay, a large group joins us.

Very pleasant, beautiful hotel in the enchanting Ellertal near Bamberg. The rooms are functionally furnished and very clean. Although the televisions urgently need to be enlarged, the balcony with a view of the valley replaces any television program. The owner Tanja takes touching care of her guests. The breakfast is extensive and plentiful. Always worth a visit. The Schnitzel Heiner (Brauerei Hölzlein, Lohndorf) is an ideal restaurant, as the hotel does not currently offer any restaurants. But it has a large drinks fridge in the hallway that leaves nothing to be desired.

The hotel is in a fantastic location in the countryside - 5 points for that.The rooms are clean and tidy and if you have a balcony you also have a wonderful view of the valley. I wavered between 4 and 5 stars - since 4.5 wasn't possible, I decided on 4.Service: since it is (unfortunately) only a Garni hotel - the service is not that great - to be fair, it must be mentioned that the hotel is run by one lady who is very friendly and helpful, but cannot be everywhere at the same time.A positive thing to mention is that there is a well-stocked refrigerator with a good selection. There is seating directly upstairs or downstairs in the room - there is also a nice fire lit here for the guests.In summer there is a wonderfully beautiful garden where you can also sit.Breakfast is a dream and there is a lot to choose from 😃.Have been there several times and would always like to go there...Tip for dinner you can go to the Hölzlein downstairs in town - it's better to reserve a table in advance.
