Personally, I was impressed by the rooms. I had a room with a renovated bathroom. The double room had plenty of storage space and was really comfortably furnished. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean.

Nice staff, good breakfast, the hotel is quite old. It used to be a celebrity hangout decades ago. Our friends had a room with a renovated bathroom. We had a bathtub without a shower curtain, so we had to shower on our knees 😐. The "escape route" was a small window on the third floor, leading to the fire department's ladder in an emergency. That doesn't work.

I was traveling in Franconian Switzerland with my family for a few days and we spent 3 nights here. In general I was really very satisfied. The service was excellent and friendly, the hotel is easily accessible in the town center and can be described as “small but nice”. The price-performance ratio was more than fair. Even if the furniture here and there has seen better days, I can only recommend the hotel!

The hotel and the rooms are large, very rustic and true to style. Not to everyone's taste, but absolutely clean!The staff is very friendly! Playing the piano while having a delicious breakfast is a highlight and we really enjoyed it! The new communal terraces are great! We were able to admire the Perseids (shooting stars) at night. We have been here twice now and will definitely come back.

Unfortunately I have to say that apart from the breakfast, which was lavish, it wasn't convincing. Unfortunately also from the boss. She didn't think it was necessary to be there on the day of departure. (It was about the tourist tax that had to be paid, the employee was overwhelmed with everything) Rooms are getting old, service after breakfast was non-existent. Fridge for drinks with overpriced drinks, not the glasses you need. I'm not coming anymore.

Good bye,We were at your hotel at the end of our little Bavaria tour. Which belongs to the very positive surprise category! We stayed in the little green house. The rooms were fantastic, especially the bathroom. All the staff were very polite and very customer oriented. The breakfast we booked in the main building was also very, very good. I look forward to the next visit. Greetings ☺️

We only had breakfast and dinner there. Very nice staff and good service, food was good, we were traveling with a large group and were able to take our own drinks from a fridge. For breakfast a pianist from Ukraine played the piano, very nice.

It was a last minute rescue. We booked the Hotel zur Sonne for one night, it was a complete disaster. ... the gentleman from the Hotel Pfeiler gave us the bridal suite with breakfast. Very great and friendly service. Only recommended. Thanks again for that. Dagmar and Jürgen Bergemann.
