Hotel Le Baldinger

Very pleasant house with friendly staff, lovingly restored and tastefully expanded. We had the buddy room and were very impressed by the cleanliness, style and facilities. The beds were great, there were even large and small pillows to choose from and other little amenities that showed that someone was thinking about the guests' well-being. The breakfast was perfectly fine, nothing more and nothing less. If I really had to criticize, I would at most mention the inadequate lighting in the bathroom.

Very nice hotel! Great design of old and modern. Very nice staff, great location in Bamberg and good breakfast for a perfect stay! Parking garage a bit away, but not a problem for us! We'll definitely be back!

Great hotel. Because you have to use the elevator once, it is very unique. You have to keep the floor button pressed until you reach your destination. The old mini console was particularly great!

An idyllic spot in the center of the city. I only wanted to stay for breakfast, but this is only available for house guests.

Simply recommended hotel! Extremely clean, so you feel right at home. Centrally located. Despite the old windows, there is good sound insulation from the street in the evening. Breakfast top.

The staff are very friendly, helpful and accommodating. That's why the 2 stars. Otherwise, unfortunately I don't have much good to say. We had room number 3. A long, narrow hose with a very large entrance area. Unfortunately this was not used at all. All the interior was at the back in front of the window. There was no luggage rack. Since we were in transit and traveling with 2 suitcases, there was a significant space problem. The bed was very narrow and very worn for two people. You couldn't sleep with the window open at night because the street runs directly under the window. But this wasn't possible with the window closed because it's impossible to get warm in the room as soon as the window is closed. The alleged “air conditioning” is just a fan that pushes the warm air from left to right. Yesterday we had around 20 degrees during the day. It doesn't have to be bearable here in summer. The bathroom was small but otherwise quite ok. But the shower tray is very slippery. With a towel as a base you could shower without any accidents. The room needs to be painted and partially re-plastered. Oh yes. Please do not lean on the railing at the window. This is loose and therefore life-threatening. For breakfast: breakfast. Everything necessary was there. But nothing more. The space was very limited. On the first morning, several breakfasters had to move to the outside area. How is this handled in winter? Breakfast times were from 8-10. So neither for early risers nor for late risers.Conclusion: More appearance than reality. The pictures given on the homepage are definitely not of room number 3. For the money we could have stayed better in many other hotels. A pity.

Great hotel with lots of style in the heart of Bamberg. Very friendly staff and great breakfast, the chopped fruit and vegetables were fantastic. Our room 10 was small, but furnished to a high standard. The soundproofing is impressive and the bathroom is really nice. There are also retro video games. Clear recommendation!
