We had heard about the special service for children and then read what the Wigwam had to offer. And we just booked the wigwam with our grandchildren (6+4). It wasn't necessarily cheap. But there was something for it too. Once sauna and whirlpool and sauna for the 4 of us. 1x horse riding for the little ones. We could have had a campfire. But we didn't have the clothes for it. And lots of fun for the little ones. Because there were a few other children there to play. The overnight stay was also very good. At this time at the end of October it is a bit cooler, but the heating makes the hot water quite warm within 5 minutes. Nice shower in there. But we didn't need it. And everything clean.Very friendly staff in the restaurant and a children's menu with lots of delicious ideas. And more than enough for the big ones. And the kicker: the breakfast. Large selection for the kids too. Who don't eat that much breakfast anyway. But drink for it. Very fine apple juice and water until you can drink it. Cocoa of course. And also a good coffee for the older ones.There is a lot to explore all around. We had the bikes with us. It is about 3km to the dam. The little one did it easily. To Eger approx. 5km. We were only there on the first day. The 4 days ended far too quickly. We said goodbye. Hopefully soon.

The environment was wonderful, maybe a lot of walks and animals around the resort. The room is nice, clean, cozy, unfortunately the walls are thin, but the views from the room are amazing. The staff, including the receptionist, were friendly and helpful, only the half-board food (dinner) could be improved.

This resort is the second in my life to which I would never return... I don't know how they built the hotel, but the walls between the rooms are so thin that you can hear absolutely everything from the next room. You get the feeling that someone is urinating or taking a shower right next to your head. Towels like a grater with a smell, like when someone rubs tires on asphalt. When we asked if we were going to the right place for breakfast, we were told..."yes"...is that hotel somewhere in Ukraine or Russia...??? At the reception, it was necessary to ask for advice somewhere or to wait a long time for someone to come... I just don't come here anymore...

A great hotel that I can only recommend to anyone who has children. There is a delicious breakfast buffet. The food for lunch and evening is also very tasty. Rooms are clean and are always cleaned. Pool is also available. Massages and baths can be booked cheaply. Totally within the price range.For the children there is a riding stable where rides are possible for reasonable prices.If you don't want to have dinner in the hotel, there is plenty of choice within a 25 km radius.Naturist friends will also find a nudist lake in the surrounding area.

On my brother's recommendation, I wanted to stop for coffee and dessert on a bike trip. When the young waiter passed us for the third time outside in the front garden without asking what we wanted, we got on our bikes and drove on. So, boy, did you serve the only big table with German-speaking guests, next time pay more attention to our people as well. Actually, not next time, we'd rather have it in Cheb, they value their guests much more there.

We were there for the first time, the outside was definitely GREAT, there was enough space in the room, the bathroom was large, but the toilet was only suitable for children, and the shower only had water if you were lucky...Breakfast offer was OK, unfortunately there were a lot of wasps in the breakfast room, so they just didn't look at them at all...Pool was sufficient, dinner in the restaurant was excellent.I don't know if we would book here again...

Have been to the Hotel Resort Stein for the 3rd time now! Always an experience! Great location, great service and the most important thing: very nice people who do everything to ensure that their guests have a wonderful stay! We'll be back next year!

Gets worse every year.Pool was completely closed.Alternative sauna with whirlpool 27€ for one person for 1 hour outrageous. Staff unfriendly. Eating well, we were hungry. Pork knuckles were warm on the outside and cold on the inside. lettucewas great on the first day and apparently didn't feel like it on the 2nd 0815. It was definitely the last time.The best thing was the beer.

A beautiful hotel in the middle of forests and corn.The rooms are nice, clean, cozy, only the pillows are a little too soft - I recommend taking a small pillow with you if you sleep like me.Breakfast buffet, coffee, tea, marmalade, a plethora of different salamis and salads, if I could fault the restaurant for one thing - few vegan options, but if fries and a packed snack are enough, you will get by.After breakfast, forests, meadows, fields await outside the door, after an arrangement for the rider, excellent horse riding, with a very nice, worthy, pleasant trainer, swimming pool on the premises, sauna, llamas and donkeys under the windows. All accompanied by above-standard nice and helpful staff.We went for 5 days, we would need at least a month to enjoy everything there is to enjoy.

Bad service, no one smiles or is courteous. So this is the 2nd TIME now that this has happened. Last time we had to get our drinks ourselves in the afternoon and were then asked to leave because it was over. Can't understand in a "hotel" Sorry,

Hotel is very remote. Normal guests are not really looked after here or if you have a motorbike then you will be served too frequently.When booking for more than 2 months in advance, children were specified and when you arrive you are given information because children do not have to pay when booking and are not entitled to eat. So we had to book an extra 100 crowns (approx. 5 euros) per breakfast or dinner per child and pay extra. The lady at the reception wanted to get something, which I'm very upset about and find it a shame (we were 3 adults and 2 children). It was then made so that you were only allowed to pay 100 crowns per day.Then the receptionist was informed before the trip that a person had problems with lactose. What do you have to say the information is restaurant and reception doesn't matter. This was ignored 3 times even though we told the staff and milk ice cream was served.The kitchen needs to be taught again. It was often too salty or too spicy.The furniture is old and beautiful but some things have seen better days. After 4 nights in the bed there, not even the partial massage that was offered helped.The staff on site only understand a few German or English. The rest will make it very difficult to communicaterecommended for families: 0%

We visited the Stein restaurant and the food was excellent. Service very nice. Although we waited a little longer for the food, it was dinner time for the guests, but it was still worth it. I can only recommend.
