It was a complete success, a consistently friendly, unobtrusive team. We liked it very much, room was good with comfortable bed and a luxury steam shower.Kitchen performance was excellent. The starter soup alone, a beef broth, was so great, no convenience, just classically made and delicious. We were supposed to pay for the room in the evening, the boss said "since only the breakfast staff would be there the next morning". No problem, but there was someone at reception the next morning and others also paid for their departure that morning. Maybe because we only booked for one night or have never been there before? Maybe they also had bad experiences there, which unfortunately I can imagine these days. Until then I actually thought we looked honest 😉. As I said, understand the caution, it seems necessary and doesn't lead to any devaluation, everything was too good for that.Thank you for everything, I hope you continue to have the same passion and strength for such great achievements in this (not always easy) job.

Many thanks to the Roeb family and their great team for the great weekend with you. We had booked a superior room. Very nicely and comfortably furnished, with a small seating area, balcony with a beautiful view and a bathroom as a small wellness oasis.Whether the ladies at the reception or in the service, they are all characterized by a high level of attentiveness and a warmly conveyed friendliness. Here you can see that hospitality is lived and conveyed. The Roeb couple are the heart of this hotel and top restaurant, which is run with so much love. From the very varied breakfast buffet, which leaves nothing to be desired, to the really delicious dishes in the restaurant, everything is super fresh, of the best quality, very imaginative and prepared according to traditionally learned cuisine. We were particularly impressed by the fact that the chef comes to each guest's table after his work is done and asks whether everything tasted good and was correct. Where else can you find something like that?We are happy to recommend this hotel/restaurant with full conviction. The hotel also has a fine small wellness facility with a sauna, whirlpool and infrared cabin. We enjoyed using it after one of our hikes around Lake Rursee.Th. Albrecht & E. Ebert
