We ate in the Ratskeller for the second time today and were again totally satisfied: , cozy (in the old part of the restaurant), nice service, fair prices and very tasty!

For a night with a dog 🐕 Okay. Rooms are a bit old, a refresh would perhaps be too expensive for the current situation.

The term hotel is rather exaggerated.There is hardly any parking available, also difficult for house guests.Even for only €10 for breakfast (to be booked separately) it's rather clear.The sink had a flaw, the toilet seat was crooked, the curtains were partially torn down and could be repaired by room service

We had dinner in the Ratskeller today.We can only recommend the German and Indian cuisine... especially the Indian cuisine... is great.And the staff always had a smile on their faces, even though the restaurant was full.If you want to eat well and with a good price/performance ratio in Nideggen... you can't ignore the Ratskeller.

It was very clean. The mattresses were good. Unfortunately everything was a bit messy. The curtains were sagging and the towels were already unraveling and pulling lots of threads. In the hallway (in the escape route) there was a folding bed and a cot.

This hotel is located in the middle of an old castle complex in Nideggen. The place itself is really cute and invites you to relax. Unfortunately, that cannot be said about the hotel. Parking in a small, narrow backyard where old drinks crates, an old scullery and other rubbish fight for space with the cars. Check in by phone. You are told that you will find the room keys in a mailbox in the terrible back yard and that you can take them. Then we continue into a dark hallway, everything is very old, which isn't a bad thing in general, but it's also dirty. Room itself, careless with old furniture. Cobwebs everywhere. The bedside lights don't work. Pillows, a complete disaster. After just one night we could hardly move our heads. We canceled breakfast because of the bad reviews. Unfortunately, the bathroom wasn't entirely clean either. There was a yellow stain on the tiles next to the toilet. The shower curtain is past its best. Adhesive residue from the old shower screen still on the walls. In short, we endured it for one night, but restful is different.

When we arrived, our room key was in the unlocked mailbox in the somewhat dingy backyard. Reception was not occupied.|A baby bed was also checked when booking, which was only available at 2200. …

Only ate in a restaurant...not a good experience: asked for rare lamb fillet and received completely hard (well done)...a disappointment. The service was also very businesslike and not very friendly. A glass of red wine -merlot- (6.5 euros) was not quality, and the primitivo was not available. They won't see us here anymore.

A charming hotel serving Indian cuisine in the heart of the picturesque town of Nideggen. The friendly staff ensures a pleasant atmosphere. The rooms are well maintained and the beds are comfortable. The only thing worth noting is that the parking lot is a bit cramped.
