No recommendation. Totally disorganized employees. Nobody knows. I had four different statements about parking. Unfortunately not even a standard breakfast. Rooms noisy and elevator never available. Better book another hotel.

The elevator was broken and I had been given a room on the top floor. No kind of discount or compensation was given despite the lack of an elevator during the entire stay.The hotel could have informed about the lack of elevator in advance.

Hotel is a bit old. But my bathroom was relatively new, hence 10 out of 10. Facilities in the room were okay. Beds comfortable.Reserved and received parking space. All employees - without exception, friendly and helpful.Unfortunately a larger tour group was present at the same time, so we waited almost an hour so that we could have breakfast due to the space.Breakfast selection, good.

Hotel in a very good location - close to the Nollendorfplatz and Wittenbergplatz metro stations. Lots of pubs around and a gay district. I was in this hotel after a break of over half a year and the elevator was not working again. A nightmare for people with limited mobility. For this reason, the hotel should guarantee some compensation. It was a huge surprise for me that the staff demanded 1 euro for storing my luggage. It's no money, but I've never seen it before. Rooms small, but ok.

I made a reservation through Booking and when they realized the could ask more money they came up with an invalid excuse (see below) to scare the customer. Very unprofessional.Dear Guest,We are contacting you today regarding your reservation for the end of August 2025.“We hereby inform you that we cannot accept your booking. We do this with reference to German law (section) §119 of the German Civil Law (BGB), as the price stated is an obvious error.”

I always enjoy staying at this hotel because it is very centrally located in the gay scene, everything good is very close and it has a great price-performance ratio. The employees are all always very friendly, I especially remember the cleaning lady 🥰 But also the people at the reception.What I really complain about, however, is that they're starting to tear out the refrigerators in all the rooms 👎 I'm diabetic and need insulin, which has to be cooled. And running to the reception every time for this is just not cool. And warm drinks in summer too. So please, if anyone from management sees this, please put the refrigerators back in, then you'll get all the stars from me too.

Quite centrally in the west of Berlin in the immediate vicinity of the subway station at KaDeWe. There are only limited parking spaces in front of the hotel. Rooms are a bit small and the room furnishings are a bit older and don't seem unclean at all. Smaller reception areas, where there may be slightly longer waiting times. I had a slightly higher Merkur regular customer status, but didn't enjoy any advantages other than the price. Drinks in the bar are relatively expensive

Convenient location. Metro, cafes, shopping centers - everything is nearby. Good bus interchange. The reception staff are helpful and attentive.Of the minuses: at breakfast, there was sour tomato juice, I asked for a replacement, they brought fresh one. The next day, history repeated itself.There was no cleaning in the room for three nights. Once they took out the trash and on the third day they hung up clean towels. For the cost of living, I would like to receive daily cleaning)

we had a good time in this hotel, good and varied breakfast and clean rooms. The only flaw: not too close to things but a 10 minute walk from a convenient metro, and then if you ask for an early check in even by just an hour they ask you for 25 euros.
