On the way back from Croatia we made an unscheduled stop due to the longer travel time. We then found this accommodation on Google. Mr. Habereder was very friendly on the phone and understood our situation and made it possible for five of us (2 adults and 3 children) to have a place to sleep. When we got there we were warmly welcomed by the family and were able to go straight into the rooms.These were very nice and large and spacious, all equipped with WiFi, TV, balcony and private bathroom with shower. The view from our room was great because the guesthouse is located directly on the Danube. Very great for our little one (5 years old) because we were able to see some ships.Ms. Habereder gave us the tip that there is a small beer garden in town that offers a few dishes.In the morning there was a great breakfast with home-grown jam and honey.All in all a great accommodation and with friendly operators. We'll definitely come back.

We had a nice room with a balcony, with a great view over the Danube. We felt very comfortable. The beds were great. The breakfast in the winter garden with homemade jams and honey was rich. The hosts were very nice and helpful. We'd love to come back.

Very nice and well located accommodation, 50m from the Danube. Very familiar, friendly hosts - uncomplicated and helpful. A 1A recommendation for bikers. Also for visitors to the abbey with a planned stopover.

very flexible, we booked at very short notice due to a breakdown.For dinner there were also home-grown cucumbers and tomatoes.We didn't miss anything. We even had a view of the Danube from the room.

Everything was very great and pleasant. Good breakfast, very nice rooms and very nice people. Unfortunately we were only there for one night because we were traveling by canoe, but we are happy to recommend it and hope to be there again at some point :)

We really felt very comfortable here. Wolfgang and Gerti Habereder are really charming hosts. The rooms are nice and clean, the breakfast is plentiful. There is specially produced honey. It's nice and quiet here in the region. You can go hiking or cycling directly from the guesthouse. Great nature. We'll be back...

Family guesthouse, an absolute insider tip right on the Danube. Large, lovingly furnished rooms and an extensive breakfast with fresh eggs from our own free-range farming. All the food was not discounted but fresh from the butcher. Only recommended.
