We (business partner and I) stayed in two single rooms in the Haus am Park. The entire facilities of the main house are available to guests of the Haus am Park without restriction. WiFi is available in the HaP. There is a parking space right in front of the door.The rooms were clean and functionally furnished. In general, the HaP is very noisy. You shouldn't expect too much for the price, which is about half the price of the room in the main building. But you can find everything in place for an overnight stay.Delicious breakfast, nice bar in the evening (foundry). The "gym" consists primarily of mostly newer cardio equipment (running, cross, spinning); A weight bench and a few dumbbells are available. It's ok".Not used: sauna. The sauna area has its best days behind it, the pools are empty. The sauna should also be ok so far.Price-performance is justified.

Horror room.Google forces me to tone down the post.Some animals in the room, bathroom and bed.Photos available upon request.No complaints, just cheap phrases.Here again? Never.It would probably be just right for horror fans.

Everything was fine here, except that the main door didn't always close completely, so someone could have easily broken in, so I recommend checking the door to see if it's really closed

Check-in is complicated because you first have to understand that you should actually drive up to the Best Western Hotel. If you don't do this, you'll probably park on Poststrasse, make your way to the house with your suitcases and then find out that you have to go to the neighboring hotel to collect the keys.The rooms are okay, some could be cleaned better. In addition, the heating in the room did not work properly.The restaurant in the hotel is very good for both breakfast and dinner. Everything fresh and very tasty!

The reception staff is a disaster!It started with the reservation. I had to call 3 times afterwards until I got a confirmation.When I checked in I was informed that the double room I had reserved was not available for single use.The breakfast should be mentioned positively.

Actually a nice, clean house.Absolutely incomprehensible that the signage to the house is incorrect or non-existent?After 10 minutes of wandering, a local resident explained to me that access was via the Best Western Hotel.

Bathroom needs to be completely overhauled, some of the old tiles are cracked, curtains could also be replaced and to top it all off, the water at the sink doesn't get warm... you can't expect much from this room and that for €400 for 3 nights. The breakfast at the Best Western Hotel is excellent!

Check in at the Western Park Hotel nearby. You can also park there - for a fee. The building can then be accessed from there. So DO NOT let Google drive you directly to the house at the park. Recession room and breakfast see my reviews there. By the way, the problem here is Booking.com. Was there on business (so was just a guest and not the one who booked) and Booking traditionally has a huge problem passing on such information to the guest - even if the hotel provides it. I will never understand why such information cannot be included in the booking confirmation email...

We got here late because they said check in is 24 hours a day. Unfortunately, I drove my car to the address shown. The parking lot in front of the house was not accessible via the signs. When we got there we read that check-in had to be done through the Best Western. So we still had to get there. Luckily it wasn't far. The room itself is okay for the price, but the bathroom seemed very old-fashioned and almost like grandma's (see photos). All in all it was okay.

The Best Western Velbert guest house is located in a quiet park with its own parking spaces directly at the house. The rooms are sufficiently large, simply but modernly furnished. The path to the restaurant in the main building is less than 100 meters long. It's comfortable to sit there and has a good menu. The staff is very friendly and moves quickly so as not to keep guests waiting long. In short: a very pleasant stay.
