This review applies to the hotel/breakfast. Room was ok and clean. Unfortunately very noisy. The hotel is located in a good/quiet location on the Sieg nature trail and near the waterfall in Schladern.What leads to my 3 star rating is the breakfast. The breakfast room is too small for the guests (there were no more free tables), you have to clear up yourself (if you don't do that, you're "blocking" tables), the selection at the buffet is poor/very simple, coffee was empty for a long time.

We went on a 5-day hiking holiday with half board in the hotel. We stayed in the hotel with 4 people and 2 dogs.The rooms were great. Modern, beautiful and with a balcony and fridge, great shower and also very clean.My mother had a broken foot and was given the room on the ground floor closest to the breakfast and dining roomOf course that was great.The restaurant, which serves really good Greek food, offers good service.For vegetarians it becomes a bit difficult with 5 days of half board because the selection is not that big.For me personally there was only one downside to my stay, that was the breakfast buffet.If you want rolls and toppings for breakfast, you'll be fine.But if you want to avoid baked goods and sugary cereals, you should bring your breakfast with you

Super great room with terrace. Food super tasty. Use of the bowling alley is free at any time. Where can you find something like that? We were super satisfied and would love to come back.

I want the old owners back. That doesn't work at all. Food lukewarm, well-done and dead. No understanding of German and ordering with finger on card because the numbers are not understood.I wish you much success for the future but that won't work.

A very nice hotel. Very attentive and friendly staff, especially the two bosses☺️. Kudos also to the kitchen and the maid 👍. The Maueler Hofbräu tastes delicious. It's home-brewed here. Great sauna. The 2 bowling alleys are also regular Occupied. Hiking and cycling paths are also easy to reach. (partly mountainous). We hiked a lot. We'd love to come back. 😉🫠

We stayed at the hotel for a week. The rooms are great. It just didn't work at all with the maid. The room was only cleaned twice.The 3-course menu is a 2-course menu. Either soup or dessert.Restaurant and food very good.

We stayed at the Hotel Willmeroth for the third time this year over Pentecost.We had booked six days including half board.There was a rich breakfast with everything that went with it. It was always refilled and everything was there until the end of breakfast. Fresh fruit was apples every day, as well as alternating pears, tangerines, oranges, peaches and strawberries.For dinner in the Syrtaki restaurant we were able to choose from Greek and German dishes, either with soup or dessert.(Hotel Wilmeroth and Restaurant Syrtaki are under one roof)Our rooms, shower, etc. were spacious and clean.The entire hotel/restaurant team was friendly and helpful, and special requests were also taken into account.As always, we were satisfied, felt comfortable and will book again in 2025 and can recommend the hotel, which is quietly located in the town of Mauel.

Stopped there as part of a hike around lunchtime. The food was very tasty and freshly prepared. I particularly enjoyed the souvlaki and the tzatziki was also really tasty. Plus a freshly tapped in-house Maueler Hofbräu. Everything at a good price-performance ratio.There is some room for improvement in the service. We would have loved to sit in the beautiful beer garden when it was sunny at 25 degrees. But strangely enough, nothing was prepared therewe asked if it was possible to sit outsidewas answered with a curt but firm "no". The owner/waiter was a bit taciturn overall, but did his job. The atmosphere in the restaurant was rather rustic and a bit old. The good food and the special drinks ( own beer and cherry liqueur) but overall we were satisfied.

Were there on New Year's Eve 23/24. The price-performance ratio was completely okay. The staff was very nice, the food was super tasty. Only as a New Year's Eve menu would I have wanted something other than normal food (meat, pasta, fries, and salad)? There was every day There were the same 3 types of salad, I was missing some variety here, I was missing some decoration on New Year's Eve, the DJ written in the email was just a laptop. Breakfast was okay, maybe they could have offered fresh fruit and muesli. Nevertheless, it was all-round Nice, saw a lot and made friends. Recommended for a short stay

I went to Sirtaki restaurant for the first time today. I have rarely eaten a better gyro. Very juicy and tastefully seasoned. A large portion for a good price. The young man in service was very personable and quick. The landlord has a sense of humor and I really liked the location. This will be my new Greek restaurant and in the summer I'll be there on my bike because you can also sit comfortably outside.

We were there at 8:30 p.m. After we couldn't get a table at another Greek restaurant in Rosbach at 8 p.m. Although there was only one married couple there, all the tables were unoccupied. The couple gave us the tip to go to Mauel and try out Restaurant Syrtaki. The cuisine should be excellent. (And in the presence of the staff) The two acquaintances didn't understand it either. The whole place was empty and the two of them had full plates. Well, we drove from Restaurant "A" to Restaurant Syrtaki disappointed. They tried very hard to serve us.We got a table straight away and have to say, the atmosphere was great. The service was also quick, polite, friendly and accommodating (grade 1), the food was fresh and of good quality. Nothing was overly seasoned but rather subtle. Everything was well cooked. Fries were great. (Didn't taste like old fryer grease) Tzatziki was delicious. Salad with dressing was super fresh. Cutlery, plates and tables were very clean. I have to honestly say, the food was great. I only visited the restaurant, so can't say anything about the hotel. I saw the beer garden (it was well attended). Parking spaces are in front of the house. My conclusion, 5 out of 5 stars. We'd love to come back.

Nice small and clean hotel. Restaurant was very tasty and the staff was courteous and friendly.Breakfast buffet was small but there was still something for everyone.If we go on holiday in this region again, the hotel will be on our shortlist again.
