Nice hotel, nice staff. Disadvantage: you have to pay by card, you can't pay in cash. My biggest annoyance is smoking in the hall. Everyone has to go through that to get to the rooms, reception and restaurant. Very dirty and it also comes into the hall of the rooms. Because of that I would never go there again and certainly not recommend it until this changes

More appearance than reality, the name “Best Western” is more impressive than the hotel. The rooms were very dark because the windows face a slope. The bedside tables are hanging at half past seven, the television is too small, the bathrooms are only superficially cleaned. The fan heater in the bathroom is not programmable. At breakfast you are repeatedly asked for your room number. All in all, you come into the hotel and you don't get a nice impression.I will no longer book a Best Western hotel.

It is very quiet.Very varied breakfast. Something for everyone. And it was always replenished quickly.Staff in the restaurant were great. Very nice and helpful. Since the terrace wasn't open, the waitress even put together a few tables for us in the winter garden in the evening and there was also a fan. Because it was very warm at the beginning of August. Because the balcony was too small for all of us. Great service. We are looking forward to a family reunion again in October, here at the hotel. Always happy.😁Highly recommended.

Our visit to the Hotel Eskeshof in Wuppertal was disappointing.I had asked several times in advance whether you were wheelchair accessible and the answer was yes. Because my wife is dependent on a wheelchair. When we got there and were assigned the room, we had no idea what to expect. The first thing we were told was that they have a swimming pool and sauna but this can only be reached via stairs. So on to the room the door couldn't be opened completely, only with force because it was lying on the floor. Finally in the room came the next surprise: a huge bed, which made access to the bathroom with a wheelchair almost impossible because it was so close to the door. Only with a lot of skill and strength did we manage to get into the bathroom, then the next step was the shower Very easy to use for people without a wheelchair but with very difficulty and outside help.Furthermore, there were torn wallpaper on the ceiling and holes filled with toilet paper. The bed is not manageable for people with a wheelchair (too high). The hotel employees and the other guests apparently don't have any doors at home because the doors slammed day and night, and on the penultimate day we were woken up by loud drilling. The evening staff wasn't exactly at their best either, orders were forgotten or overlooked. But the real kicker was that the waiter said to other guests that my wife was something special and so she sat us in a corner of the restaurant so that we wouldn't attract attention.Simply put, because of inclusion it was anything but that, I'm horrified by it and we won't be visiting this hotel again.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.Since there are unfortunately no elevators and as a person with walking difficulties I am somewhat limited. They always helped with bringing my suitcase to the room. The wellness area is very modern and very clean.Next to the pool there are 2 saunas. The food is great 👍🏼From the breakfast buffet with a lot of choice to the 3-course menu in the evening with really large portions. Were very satisfied.

The hotel has a good swimming pool and 6 charging points for electric cars. The restaurant is good and the rooms are spacious. The sanitary facilities are very good.Unfortunately, there is no elevator to go to the floor. The parking is very spacious and the mattresses are very good.In the area, the botanical garden and the sculpture park are beautiful attractions. The monorail/schwebebahn is also very nice. The city has a new shopping center at the train station that is very nice, but the rest of the city is outdated and not touristy.
