Definitely not a 4 star hotel, in some sense not even 3 stars...• Although located superclose to the airport the sound insulation is not sufficient, rooms looking east (airport direction) are very noisy until the last flights (sometime around 1 am).• The bathroom seemed refurbished, but some parts were be kept, that were old and worn.• General cleanliness is okay, as is the breakfast.• There's a shuttle to airport / S-bahn station with a very friendly driver. Runs every 15 mins, but needs to be booked at the reception. Unfortunately we were not informed about it upon our arrival, so had to pay a taxi for the 3 minutes ride :/

We stayed in the hotel for one night because our flight left very early. Clean room, good and friendly service. We also went to the restaurant and couldn't complain about anything there. A free shuttle took us to the airport at night. Therefore 5 well-deserved stars.

Nice staff. The shuttle took us to the check-in the evening before and picked us up as well as to the flight in the morning. It was quieter than expected and everything was clean.

The room was clean. Unfortunately that was it. I booked this because of a training course at the hotel. The reception was totally overwhelmed. Everyone paid a different price for the parking space, and at lunch the waitress threw the plate in when it was reserved. In the evening, however, the waiter did a really good job; he was friendly and attentive. The cards for the room had to be constantly reactivated because after a few hours you could no longer get into the room with them. You couldn't enter the fitness room because it was locked. All in all, I wouldn't book the hotel again.

After my good experiences in May, I booked an overnight stay with breakfast, parking and shuttle service for my vacation in September. The room was, as in May, very large and very quiet.I think the breakfast is overpriced at €17.The shuttle to departure also worked like it did in May, really well.Unfortunately there were problems with the shuttle when we returned. After a second phone call, 25 minutes of waiting and a clear announcement from my husband to the driver, we were squeezed into the bus that was picking up a crew from the airport. Without the opportunity to buckle up, we went to the hotel.I'm not sure if I would book it again. I think there are alternatives.

Conclusion first: Great.(except booking hotline - explanation follows)From the beginning:We were looking for a parking space and somewhere to sleep near Cologne/Bonn Airport for our vacation. First park, then sleep. (Shuttle included)We first tried the booking hotline (4 times) - everyone was friendly.1 - I was seeking information.2 - So far complete, only the confirmation email never arrived3 - Posted my query in the agents' chat group - without a call back4 - due to language hurdles, the nice gentleman referred me to an email address to which there was no responseSo in short we booked online.After consulting with the hotel, this booking arrived with the information in the free text field.We arrived in the middle of the night and parked the car - the parking lot was already quite full and the parking spaces were sometimes very narrow, but this was also due to the "talent" of the other guests in parking the car. The lobby makes a simple impression at first glance, but this is quickly forgotten as you are greeted in a friendly manner. In the lobby there is a screen with the departure times etc. There is also coffee, some fruit and small items. Croissants ready. Super.We were then driven to the airport. Everything without any problems.After returning we received a business card from the hotel. We should get to the taxi rank in Terminal 1, at the front of the taxi queue (direction of travel). You should remember it from the outbound flight - it's the same place. From Terminal 2 (Arrivals) we searched for a bit due to the time, but still found it. (At Rewe, in departures, Terminal 1, there is a yellow exit - that's where the taxis are)Despite the time, the driver was very friendly and joking - really great!The check-in went smoothly.We had booked 2 rooms, for 2 and 3 people - they were next to each other and had a lockable connecting door. Very large, very clean - the bathroom was also nice and big and clean. The mattresses were too soft for me, but just right for other fellow travelers, so it's personal preference.A bottle of mineral water was available - which was very welcome after the flight. The capsule coffee machine was also used immediately the next morning.We ordered breakfast once. We were able to pay directly in the breakfast restaurant. Martina B. & her young colleague were very friendly and tried very hard. Great people.There were rolls, croissants, cakes, lots of jams, scrambled eggs, fried eggs, beans in tomato sauce, a good selection of cold cuts, 4 juices, the typical coffee, fruit etc etc etc. You sit very comfortably and the service at the table was very successful.If we fly from Cologne/Bonn Airport again, we will park and stay here again.

Room OK for one night. Bathroom in need of renovation, especially in the shower or bathtub. Silicone and tile backsplash unsightly, mold stains. Expected something better for this price.Service and breakfast, however, were top.

I requested a room to sleep from 05:00 to 10:00 which means a normal check out, entering with a late check in and they wanted to charge me double, in my life this has happened to me after more than 1000 trips, I do not recommend this hotel at all

Rooms are a bit old, including the bathroom. But completely sufficient for one night. Great breakfast with very attentive and friendly staff. Quick shuttle to the flight. Would love to come back

As airline pilot I'm travelling a lot, thus hotel live style is something which I'm in all the time. So I can say something about this hotel. Unfortunately so far worst experience for me. Air conditioning almost all the time doesn't work, Internet doesn't work as well and people from hotel constantly are lying that within 5mins, Internet will work again. Same story since couple of days.Hotel gym same thing, there is only 3 devices to work out, all of them are "unserviceable "To be honest I'm not recommending this hotel. It's a big disappointment. I wasn't there just one time, I'm here quite often and same story all the time.It's definitely not 4star hotel. Maybe some 20years ago it had 4 stars, but today unfortunately maybe 2star or 1.5.

Service lacking professionalism, it took an hour for them to arrange a baby bed which we requested in advance, we received a room that didn’t match our booking (we booked two double beds and received only one). No sound insulation (you can hear everything outside of the room and in the parking lot). Don’t come here, go to the Moxy hotel instead if you have to; it’s worth the extra money.
