Very nice and courteous staff, clean rooms, good breakfast, free WiFi. The only drawback is the bed and especially the pillows are quite uncomfortable. Both very soft, pillows so soft that you lie with your head on the mattress.

This was a simple quiet place with simple rooms and welcoming staff. Location is actually convenient and nice - the English park just beside the hotel, numerous restaurants right around the corner. And they have a good breakfast.

Great location right next to the English Garden. Inner courtyard and castle worth seeing. Easy access to local transport. E-scooters are also available everywhere.After the good reviews for the breakfast, we expected something more. Was solid. There was a sufficient selection of muesli, rolls, bread, juices, cheese and sausage, but there was no warm food except for boiled eggs. Hallways and rooms seemed a bit gloomy.

We had a double room in the Kardinal-Wendel-Haus. The room was a normal size, very clean and pleasantly quiet. We were welcomed very friendly. Overall all the staff were very polite and helpful. We immediately felt “at home”. The location is brilliant. Just cross the street and you're in the "English Garden". The “Münchner Freiheit” subway is only a 5-minute walk away. I was able to park in front of the house with a borrowed resident's permit. It costs 10 euros per day, but it's definitely much cheaper than standing in the parking garage all day.We will definitely inquire there again on our next stay in Munich because we really enjoyed it.Thanks again to the staff.

Had a very nice stay (5 nights). Comfortable very spacious room. We stayed in a suite in Suresnes Castle, which made it extra special. The breakfast is generous and the products are excellent. Especially a big compliment to the employees, we felt very welcome. The location of the hotel couldn't be better: the green oasis Englischer Garten around the corner, many nice cozy restaurants also around the corner. The Munchener Freiheit metro stop takes you easily to the center, but it is also easy to walk, for example via the Englischer Garten or via the lively Leopoldstrasse. Munich stole our hearts and so did this hotel!
