Small and nice located on the outskirts of a small town.Nice natural pool on the site.Showers and toilets are clean and well maintained. The drain for the chemical toilets wasn't cleaned for 4 days, that was the only negative thing. The older manager was friendly and helpful. We cannot confirm the previous negative reviews.

I would even give the campsite 5 stars. Very nice place. However, 50 cents for 3 minutes of shower time is not appropriate. In addition, the machine only takes 50 cent pieces, no smaller coins or euros, so we had to go to Edeka in the evening to change money.

Update from September 2024:We stayed at this beautiful campsite again for 5 days.We wanted to enjoy the peace and quiet on the square this time too. BUT that was impossible. At least 3 long-term camper families cut wooden beams with circular saws EVERY day, including during the lunch break and on Saturday until 5 p.m. On Saturday evening one of the three was asked to calm down and the answer was "If you don't want to hear that, put plugs in your ears".Our conclusion: A really great campsite, but the behavior of some long-term campers is inappropriate. The site rules should also apply to them.________________________________May 2022A very nice, small campsite. We felt very comfortable there. The toilets, showers and dishwashing rooms were super clean. There aren't many of anything (mainly toilets (4) and showers (3)), but whatever, it was enough and we never had to queue. The swimming pond is beautifully designed and the meadows around it invite you to chill out or play volleyball. What we were missing... a small camper shop with the bare necessities or at least a place to order bread rolls. We were there on a public holiday and couldn't get bread rolls for breakfast anywhere in the area, which was annoying.Otherwise everything is fine. The proximity to Edeka and the old town of Seßlach is great!

We arrived today. The day before yesterday I called and asked if we could reserve a parking space for one night. It was explained to me very quickly and not particularly nicely that this was only possible in writing via the website. That's what we did, especially since the place has a good rating and is also close to the city. When we arrived after the lunch break, no one was present. A cell phone number was referenced. After the call, an old man quickly arrived on his scooter. He instructed my husband to drive to the barrier and I should register with him. When I asked, I found out that the showers cost 50 cents. I also asked again that you can shower with it for 3 minutes. In short, the way you are received and informed here is borderline. I had the feeling that you were a nuisance and that you weren't happy to be sold one night.
