The annual visit to Holger Bodendorf's restaurant is and remains an experience.Each course was a work of art in itself, masterfully prepared and presented. The flavors were perfectly balanced and the ingredients were of the highest quality. What was particularly impressive was the personal touch that some dishes were brought to the table by the chef himself. This gave the evening a special exclusivity and showed the passion and dedication of Holger Bodendorf and his team.The service was attentive and professional, always on hand without being intrusive. The atmosphere in the restaurant was relaxed and welcoming, which further enhanced the enjoyment of the exquisite food. After a request for a teaspoon - to enjoy the delicious sauces - it was added to each course without being asked. Class.It would be desirable to have a printed version of the menu so that you can read it...Overall, it was a culinary experience in a class of its own, which I would fully recommend to every gourmet. 🌟

Fine cuisine and courteous service. We ate very well. The only thing that may have been a bit annoying is that the lighting at the table was a bit too dark, but that's certainly a matter of taste. Highly recommended!

We ate the menu and enjoyed several culinary surprises.Unfortunately the service appears to be suffering from a lack of qualified staff. There is no sommelier and therefore no corresponding wine pairing can be recommended. We then ordered a bottle of Pinot Gris and received it in Burgundy glasses. Our request to give us white wine glasses was met with the comment that many people would like to drink Burgundy out of Burgundy glasses. The wine that had already been poured into the Burgundy glasses simply disappeared down the drain. Complete.What was irritating was that the cutlery was placed randomly on the knife rest before each new course: the fork sometimes to the left, sometimes to the right of the knife.The appearance of some service staff could be improved.As the evening progressed, the air in the rather small room became increasingly stale.Addendum:In my opinion, the constructively critical review was followed by an unfounded complaint to Google.Instead, I would have expected a serious discussion of the points raised. At Michelin-starred cuisine, it's not just the food that counts, but also the service and the ambience, because the prices for Michelin-starred cuisine would not be justified just for the food.Therefore, another star deducted from the overall rating.Addendum 2:Complained again after 8 months claiming there was no customer relationship. The name is certainly easy to find in the reservation system. This means that the last good memory is lost.

In the restaurant you get very good cuisine and nice wines. The service could be a little more customer-oriented. We were there with a larger group, but there is a separate room that is very comfortable. The sequence of courses was too quick for us, a little more time between courses would have been good.There is a bar right next to the restaurant that is quite well stocked.

HB that is world class!A fantastic restaurant experience with wonderful food and drinks and excellent service!We particularly felt how considerate they were with my pregnant partner. The three of us were at Fine Dining, the gourmet temple, on August 1st. The restaurant is newly designed and brighter than what I previously remembered. You sit on the designer chairs and the round bench at a comfortable height and backrest and even after a few hours the temperature and air in the room are just right. If you have arrived on time there is a welcome and directions to the place. A nice wine list that reflects the world's offerings and is unfortunately a bit too limited when it comes to the Bordeaux wines. Unfortunately, our Barbuda arrived from Niepoort a little cold and had to be decanted and swirled to get it up to temperature. The open wine in the glass arrived at the next table. It would have been nicer if the service at the table had been assessed and one had the opportunity to admire the labels. The service was also the point to be criticized here. A bit busy and seems to be under a bit of stress. On our last visit there were other people there who enriched the room in a relaxed and atmospheric way. It was really good back then. In this regard, Mr. Bodendorf would have to be more relaxed and try less. Going to a restaurant is about relaxation and not just a show. The menu sequence and what was served was not objectionable. It was good for the Michelin rating - it was just a little low. Maybe a load of bread would have helped or a few olives would definitely help. A service worker was then instructed by the boss in our presence. Well, it doesn't have to be that way. There is no time to compare. In any case, we went home tired.
