The hotel is located directly behind the dune. Unfortunately, the street near the hotel is quite busy. But the room glazing filters the noise quite well. Breakfast and dinner are varied and delicious. The staff is consistently friendly and helpful. The bus stops right in front of the house. The beach is great and there are enough things to do from Sylt.

Disaster this hotel.The only good thing is the location.The rooms are okay.Food disaster I have never eaten so badly in a hotel.Everything as a buffet. Mostly cold and the meal times are like in a retirement home from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The buffet will be dismantled at 7:45 p.m.95% of guests are at least 60 years old and older.Once and never again.

Room was ok. Location was good. But then why only 2 stars?Quite simply, the service was worse than bad, I've never experienced anything like that. The entire service was really subpar. The food was also a disaster. I almost only ate outside for 7 days. The employees were also very unfriendly and disrespectful. That's why only 2 stars, I can't recommend the hotel and I can only advise against it to everyone.

The hotel is very well managed. Everything was well organized. Staff all very friendly and helpful and attentive. The cuisine is excellent. The hotel is one of the best from the BSW foundation family.

This is just a 3* hotel, the rooms and shower are small but nice, the beds are good, everything is very clean. The breakfast buffet is varied and vegetarians are also catered for at dinner, there is something for everyone. The staff is mostly friendly.

A great hotel, the sofa bed is unfortunately very hard but we got a topper upon request. Unfortunately, the prices have risen a bit due to inflation, but the ambience and the offers such as swimming pool, table tennis table, playground, e-bike charging station, etc. are very good 👍

Accommodation with functional furnishings.Very quiet although very child friendly. With everything little guests need (playground, playgroup under competent supervision, mini golf course for older ones).It is advisable to request and keep the invoices in order to avoid misunderstandings when billing and insinuations.

You can hardly go on holiday on Sylt much cheaper.Perfect location. Less than 5 minutes to Rantum beach. Bus stop right in front of the door.Rooms (Haus Köln) are modernly furnished and perfectly fine for the price. Unfortunately it is very noisy towards the street. “Car noise” until late in the evening. Sleeping with the window open is hardly possible for people who are sensitive to noise.Breakfast and dinner are taken at fixed times in a large canteen-like hall. The food itself (three dishes to choose from), the waiting in line for the buffet, etc. is somewhat reminiscent of the company canteen. (Food is quite good so far. With fluctuations up and down. School grade 3)The service staff is courteous and always friendly.The hotel is very child-friendly and offers its own playground, children's room, mini golf course and a separate children's pool in the “spa area”.If you're not expecting a luxury hotel, you can definitely have a great time here at moderate prices!

The room was great but then it stopped. The vegetables for dinner alone are terrible frozen food, the desserts are all powdery stuff. Honestly, if you spend your money there it's your own fault. Camping holidays are a thousand times cheaper and you don't get ripped off like you do there.

I think the hotel is great. The service is very friendly and everything was clean. The food was very tasty. You can get everywhere with the bus that stops right outside the front door. The rolls were a bit dry but otherwise everything was good. Another highlight was the direct path to the beach, which was only 200 meters away.

This was our first time in Alt Rantum and we were not disappointed.Everything was perfect, from the service staff super friendly and always therein the mood for jokes.The breakfast buffet was great, there was nothing missing, the same was true for dinner, there was something for everyone.All in all, it was a great time on Sylt.

We were there from March 18th to March 22nd.Unfortunately I have to say never again.I came with 2 teenagers. So far everything is good. But the other one was much worse.

A down-to-earth hotel with contemporary rooms that are clean and tidy. The food is also completely fine. The swimming pool is small but nice. I had nothing to complain about during my stay. And I felt comfortable. The location right behind the beach is also excellent. For Sylt prices, this hotel is definitely recommended.

We had a great family time in Rantum. Everyone was friendly.I even got lactose-free yogurt and milk.Every time I ate I was told what I could and couldn't eat.Big praise for the kitchen and service 👍We would have liked the swimming pool to be 2 degrees warmer.
