We spent a week in the Hapimaganlage on Hörnum with our two children, 12 years old and 4 years old, during the autumn holidays of 2024. We have been Hapimag guests for several years and have therefore visited a wide variety of facilities.We had high hopes for the facility in Hörnum and were ultimately quite disappointed. No question the location is wonderful and perfectly located.Unfortunately that was it. During our time we had a 2 room comfort apartment. The apartment seemed really outdated to us. Of course, the furnishing style is a matter of taste. For us with the colorful tiled mirrors, old curtains, hard wooden chairs that offer little comfort and you can't sit on for long etc... everything is a bit too 70s. But what bothered us more was that the rooms had some unsightly quirks and signs of wear. See photos. Paint chips on the door frames, dirty walls...we also had wobbly, defective bedside lamps in the bedroom. For the price you pay here, an absolute no-go! In our opinion, people are resting a little too much on the beautiful location and the name Sylt/Hörnum. It urgently needs to be improved/renovated.We don't know anything about the general Hapimag standard yet. The second thing that really bothered us was that the children were not allowed into the sauna/spa area. We didn't know that either. There is a separate swimming pool area for families. Then there is a second area with a spa, sauna and swimming pool including an outdoor pool in which children are not allowed. We personally think it's a shame. In most facilities, children were allowed to come until a certain time. Here they seem to be very much oriented towards the older people who are in the majority. Just not very family friendly. If you compare the complex, for example, with the one on the Baltic Sea, where you can get a premium apartment in a top location for less money, this was the first and last time for us here.

In my opinion the most beautifully located Hapimag facility on Sylt. Located on the outskirts of town and directly opposite is a bus stop. Behind it is the Hapimag Resort parking lot. As in all other Hapimag facilities, the employees are very nice and courteous. Our rooms were meticulously clean and the beds were comfortable. The small kitchens are almost complete, an oven instead of the microwave would be great. A bread roll service is also offered and was used extensively. The sauna and bathing area is more than adequately equipped for this size and is also the right size so that you don't have to lie or swim close together. Behind the complex, there is a small path over the dunes to the beach.

Our new favorite resort from Hapimag. We would like to highlight the competence of Dominik at reception and Tim at the massage. Tim gave us valuable tips regarding our posture and in general he is an incredibly warm and pleasant person who knows his craft. The resort is in a great location, a stone's throw from the sea. It is very dog-friendly and our little daughter also felt very comfortable. The rolls in the morning taste great and we had a great time otherwise. Thanks for that - we'll definitely be back!

We are here now in mid-August. We have been coming here for several years. Sometimes in May, sometimes in September and this year in August. The weather is very changeable. You can't change it, but the whole facility is getting old. The swimming pool is gradually rusting. The apartments are very weathered. And not particularly well maintained. I am disappointed this year and will not book again.

The location is very good.The rooms are getting old and in need of renovation. The balconies with the chairs are not inviting.When we arrived, our apartment was not cleaned properly. However, this was kindly made up for.It would be great if there was a vacuum cleaner in the apartments.For example, we are used to a different standard thanks to Hapimag Winterberg.It's also a shame that the restaurant is currently on vacation during the summer holidays.The location of the complex is very nice, as you can walk to the harbor, beach and beautiful localities.
