After a successful first visit in the summer of 2023, we went to the beach hotel again. It was wonderful again! A very nice family-run hotel near the beach! The staff were very accommodating and friendly! The breakfast was very big and delicious! We would love to come back!

This was our second time at the stand hotel. This time only two people. - Basically everything that we liked the first time convinced us again. Very nice hosts, great location in Wenningstedt (5 minutes to Gosch and the beach), outstanding breakfast, cozy lounge, parking lot, nice rooms, good beds, very good hot water jet in the shower, nice guests and always nice conversations - again at any time our preferred hotel on Sylt…The town of Wenningstedt has also proven itself because it is not Westerland (too big for us) and is not at the northern or southern end of the island like List or Hörnum. This means you have a good starting position for any excursion.

After six days in the beach hotel we have toUnfortunately we are leaving again tomorrow. It was our first time here and we felt very comfortable!The hotel was recommended to us by chance and we can only pass on the recommendation: Great breakfast buffet, very nice hosts, excellent location 300 m from the beach and very nice rooms. In the garden behind the house you can sit relaxed and enjoy the sun.If you're not that mobile, you'll have to look around a bit: there's no elevator, but there are a few rooms on the ground floor.We'd love to come back!

The hotel is very centrally located in Wenningstedt and everything you need is within walking distance.The team around the Welsch family (an honest family business) and hotel dog Karl-Otto strive to make your stay as pleasant as possible.The breakfast buffet is extremely rich and leaves nothing to be desired.We have been there many times and are already looking forward to our next visit.

Unfortunately I can't say how I find the hotel and whether you have a nice holiday there on Sylt - but I can really only advise everyone not to book something there if you are looking for good customer service and humanity (as they say these days) lays.The short version: my mom was in the hospital and didn't know whether she would be fit again by the time she started her trip (two nights). Unfortunately, there was no goodwill cancellation from the hotel.Unfortunately my mom passed away. I informed the hotel about this - again, as a gesture of goodwill, no one wanted to cancel their overnight stay (they were probably able to rent one out). Which is very sad.Then the worst came for me... the owners knew what had happened... but they still wrote to my mom's email asking if she was feeling better and that she still had to pay the bill. When I called them in horror, all they said was "well then the heirs will have to pay the €60", no condolences, no apology, unfortunately nothing... and about the email "that was automated", normally you should have the details of someone Remove the deceased person from the database so that something like this cannot happen, as I have also stored my email for further contact

We have enjoyed coming to this family-run hotel for over 10 years. In addition to the good location near the beach, the very good, varied and lovingly prepared breakfast should be highlighted. The rooms are functionally furnished and are tidied up daily by the courteous staff. If the televisions were now brought up to date with the latest technology, this would also be an incentive for younger people to choose the hotel. But since you're always outside anyway, that's for and not a priority. We like to come back again and again ;-)

Beautiful family-run hotel with a friendly, quiet atmosphere and attentive staff. Very nice location, close to the sea, close to the bus stop, close to Edeka, the bookstore and restaurants on the beach. Very varied, delicious breakfast. I will gladly come again!

We had a wonderful stay. The team is always helpful, courteous and friendly. Ms. Welsch Sr. takes loving care of the guests. The breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired. It is incredibly diverse and there is homemade jam.There is a reading room where small pastries are always available. You can also get drinks and sweets there. You then simply write this down on a piece of paper and it will be offset against your hotel bill.The location of the hotel is ideal: close to the beach and it is approximately the same distance to both the north and south of the island.

We were very excited, the rooms and the entire hotel are very clean and well-kept, the Welsch family is incredibly warm and always has a smile on their faces. It used to be a decent bed and breakfast, but unfortunately we can no longer recommend it at all.Everything is getting old and is in need of makeshift repairs.The quality of the once very good buffet has declined significantly. Rooms and furniture worn out.But the worst thing is the now unspeakable management ("junior" boss): incredibly arrogant, condescending, unfriendly and constantly referring to the terms and conditions and the small print. You don't want to stay in this "hotel" anymore.
