This is not a part of the luxury hotel chain. It's privately run, as far as I can tell . ||The hotel was shabby and dirty. The furniture was damaged, torn and broken. The table lamp wobbled and I was concerned about getting shocked.  …

The good first:The location in the old town is great. The rooms are very noisy. This weekend a group of South African farmers were at the hotel. Someone must have drunk so much that you could hear the vomiting half the night. He probably trashed his room too, from the sound of it.Windows aren't the answer either. You can hear the screaming from the street. There are no parking spaces nearby. But it is available in some online portals. The operator can't do anything about it.Check-in is at another hotel. It was quick and friendly. The rooms are quite large, but are carelessly furnished and are getting old.Stains on carpets and walls. The bathrooms look good... but only at first glance. Upon closer inspection there is mold and dirt.Actually, you can't really talk about a hotel here in the true sense. It's more of a guest room and you also get breakfast. Breakfast is then served in the other hotel, where you first have to walk across the street.Big disappointment... The selection is really poor. You'll get full, but at 160 euros a night I'd like a lot more.I travel a lot for business and have seen a lot, but this is really not state of the art.We were privately in Heidelberg. If you want a spartan atmosphere and are looking for proximity to the old town, this is the place for you.The staff was very nice at check-in and out and at breakfast. We wouldn't come again. It's better to go somewhere outside and cheaper and pay for the taxi.

DANGER! Beds are not for side sleepers. The hotel is in a prime location directly on the Neckar and is an ideal starting point for exploring the old town of Heidelberg. The breakfast is very spartan.1x cheese, salami, cooked ham, raw ham, cream cheeseAlso eggs and jam.The hard beds really bothered us.My wife and I are side sleepers.Neither of us could sleep much and had severe back pain the next morning.Certainly comfortable for someone who sleeps on their back.Despite the great location, we would not visit this hotel again.

Great location, everything in the old town is within walking distance. We had an attic room with a great view.Everything is a bit old, but ok. We had to drag our luggage up to the third floorThe breakfast buffet was very clear and could have been presented a little nicer. However, everything was refilled immediately and the staff was very friendly. We found the price-performance ratio to be okay, 140 euros per night is quite a bit, but in this great location you can hardly find anything cheaper.

First of all, the staff was super friendly.Unfortunately you can't post pictures here. But my room was full of cobwebs. When I took the Tollieten brush out of the holder I soon felt like puking. There were remains of many guests. You can't even buy a bottle of water. There wasn't even a drinking glass in the room.I was under the roof and it was hot. It was nice that there was a fan in the room, but I couldn't turn it on because I thought a helicopter would start, so it had long since passed its shelf life.At breakfast there was only the bare essentials and the coffee reminded me of the hospital. It was great that there was a glass with 0.1l of orange juice, so it was allocated. So price and performance have no relation.

The location is ideal, however I do not recommend this establishment, dilapidated bathroom with the smell of sewers, dirty linen. Very basic breakfast, room not air-conditioned. I would also note the unpleasant and unempathetic attitude of the owner. Move on and choose another hotel
