Good morning ..Unfortunately I can't leave a good review.I was here for a few days and unfortunately my conclusion is not that great. But first the positive things.Hotel is in a quiet location, parking spaces are available and the lady of the house seemed nice and friendly.However,..The rooms are very old and the beds are very worn out.It was also quite cold despite the heating being on. There was a draft on the windows. In the room I stayed in, the bathroom window was pretty crowded and there were mold spots on the ceiling. The shower head couldn't be located either. Unfortunately, you could also see in from the outside because there were no blinds or anything similar.During the time I was there, the room was neither cleaned nor the towels changed nor the trash can emptied.Breakfast was not possible due to a lack of staff. That's why I can't say much good about it here.

Our booking was canceled due to covid 19.A week before, on Saturday, I had to make sure that there were cars in front of the Ammerland house and people were coming out of the room and there was no sign of a covid 19 case. The complex is unkempt and it is only seen that the house is provided.I can't miss the Hotel Haus Ammerland.

Completely overpriced for such a worn out house... the furniture is worn out and the bed is sagging. WiFi didn't work at all when we were there. The owner is unfriendly and asked us very rudely when we were coming and called when we weren't there as stated and in a tone that was completely unacceptable. By far the worst accommodation in years for the price. Pictures are sometimes completely different. This house only survives because there is a clinic there and many relatives spontaneously book accommodation and since the place is very popular with holidaymakers, you take whatever is left over.My advice is to drive a few more km and spend the night in the next town.

Nice people there. Clean rooms. Nevertheless, the price performance is not right. The furniture doesn't fit together. Sofas are worn out, windows don't close properly and at least my bathroom felt like a swimming pool after showering.WiFi is only available in the dining room

We had booked room number 3 for one night. The pictures from the internet were completely different! The room didn't work at all! We have never had such a worn out room. And we have stayed in other hotels many times. There has been a backlog of renovations since the 80s. Loose, gray curtains, wobbly chair, shabby furniture, horrible mattresses, ancient sofa...loose plaster in the bathroom, yellowed shower cubicle, etc. We felt very, very uncomfortable and if it hadn't already been so late, we would have been there Security looked for another hotel. We should pay directly when checking in. The card reader didn't work. In our experience, payment is usually only made upon departure. We then had to look for an ATM in the evening so we could pay in cash the next morning. The breakfast is declared as a “rich breakfast”. That I don't laugh! Only 1 type of light rolls and nothing wholesome👎🏻. This is not up to date! No boiled warm eggs on Sunday. No scrambled eggs......pathetic.The staff (owner?) unfriendly and dismissive. Shame on you! We could have thrown the 95€ into the Zwischenahner Meer...then we could at least have seen it swim away😡
