Unfortunately, we were blinded by the great website. Afterwards we realized that there were no bread rolls in the off-season and that the café was also closed. If we had known that, we wouldn't have booked at all!In addition, the showers are underground. My wife stood in her shower water. The toilets were also cleaned maybe twice in 10 days.Maybe it's different in summer, but clearly NOT recommended in "winter"!!

In principle, the place is actually quite nice. Quiet, child-friendly and lots of forest. Only restaurant closed. But you also have to say that after the last period of rain, the parking spaces above can only be reached with momentum and a lot of trust in the motorhome, which isn't exactly great. In this case the landlord could have said something below to rent. We have never experienced that the reception is only staffed for one hour a day and we have been driving around the country for a good 20 years now. But well, you gain experience. Not always the best but we don't want to badmouth everything, you can spend a good time here. Depends on the requirements.

A really great little place.It's a bit further away from the shot but still good.Sanitary facilities are good, the showers could be modernized, but the operator is currently working on that.Definitely happy to come back in the future.

Very quiet place with charm. Ideal for camping with children. The good connection to Weimar and Erfurt makes it ideal for city trips. The place is very well maintained, very clean sanitary facilities, has a bar and a bistro. The staff is very friendly. Children have a great playground and plenty of space to run around in the landscape.

Very nice campsite, quietly located and relatively close to Weimar and Erfurt. So ideal for city trips. The place itself is very well maintained, showers and toilets are very clean. Not to forget the staff, who were always very friendly and accommodating.We'd love to come back.

Romantically designed place, quite lonely, located in a beautiful landscape. Otherwise there isn't much on offer. It is quiet, only the nearby highway can be heard, depending on the weather.You should buy groceries in advance as nothing is available on site or in the surrounding area.You shouldn't place too high demands on the sanitary facilities or their cleanliness... (or clean them yourself as recommended on the posted signs)Everyone has to decide for themselves whether the price/performance is right under these conditions.

A wonderful CP. is located in the forest near Erfurt and Weimar. Space for all sizes. From tent to liner. Dogs are welcome.Very friendly staff. There is a bread roll service and a restaurant with very good supplies.

Favorite place discovered while passing through! Very nice operator and lovingly designed place with a cozy atmosphere in nature. Even outside opening hours there is still a warm welcome, something cooked in the bistro and the evening spent on the cozy terrace with a beach bar feeling and dice games. The showers in the container are simple but clean and functional. Still real camping with heart and atmosphere!

A campsite with a heart ♥️. Nothing is impersonal, everything is designed with attention and creativity. From the "suitcase counter" to the rustic toilet block. It creates an atmosphere that we love. We had a very pleasant evening in pouring rain with many guests in the covered outdoor bar with fantastic live music! Thanks Marco and all the other staff for such a good start to our holiday!

We ended up here by chance while passing through and were thrilled. Super nice place prepared with a lot of love. The sanitary facilities are clean.The small bistro... the men's restaurant is a great place to relax and there is also food. Bread roll service in the morning... all at a reasonable price. It's great to go cycling and walking. Our dog was also welcome...thank you very much, we'll be back!

If there were six or seven stars, this would actually be the moment to give it! The bottom line is that it is always the people who make special experiences. Marco Elzer, the operator and owner of this wonderful campsite, is the kind of person who can leave a lasting impression on experiences.The facility itself has been maintained and maintained with great attention to detail and creativity. The individual locations for the campers, tents or caravans are beautifully laid out. Showers and toilets are clean, functional and beautifully made. The entire complex is located in the forest and is therefore very, very quiet. What's special about the facility is the atmosphere, especially in the evenings: we were lucky enough to have two musicians perform on Saturday evening. The cuisine shouldn't be neglected either: the Thuringian dumplings were delicious, nice and cold and the beer was also tasty. At times it felt like I was at a dropout party somewhere on Fomentera. Like in a commune. So, thank you very much, dear Marco!PS And thank you very much for the organized repair service on a Sunday!!

Showed up here without booking with a van in the rain! Despite being fully booked, Marco assigned us a nice makeshift spot! We are extremely satisfied! It's a shame it's raining otherwise we would have gone hiking!
