A nice little guesthouse. Despite the fact that they don't have a reception, everything works great with the keybox.A kitchen area available to everyone. You have to make breakfast yourself. But everything your heart desires is there. For more you can stock up on the Netto market. It's only 50m away.I'd love to come back.

The room is fine. Clean and tidy. The bathroom is small, the mattress is sagging and the price is overpriced.There is no service, you check in alone. The location was good for us because we were staying with friends on the corner.

Caution!In April I booked a room for a weekend at the Artem Orbis Jena for the end of August. A valid accommodation contract was concluded. When I asked in June, the booking was confirmed.In mid-August I received a cancellation with the succinct explanation: "We have a medical emergency that will require a room in our guesthouse for quite some time." sent. They also thanked me in advance for my understanding.It is actually a hotel and not a hospital or nursing facility.This email ended up in my spam folder. This is unusual for business emails. It happened here.So I only found out about the cancellation shortly before arrival when I asked for the key code.Luckily I was able to quickly book a room at another hotel in Jena so that the trip didn't have to be cancelled.I communicated and documented the additional costs for this room to Artem Orbis, setting a reasonable deadline and requesting compensation.Artem Orbis neither initiated payment of the additional costs nor commented on it at all.In short: If you book with Artem Orbis long in advance, it can happen that your room is quickly pulled out from under you. In principle, this can happen to any hotel. In this case it happened to me for the first time in my life, although I am no longer the very youngest boy.

We were there for a long weekend. The guesthouse is highly recommended. Very nicely designed rooms. Everything is available in the kitchen so that you can easily conjure up a breakfast. As already reported in other reviews, everything is very clean. The guesthouse is an ideal starting point for hikes, but you can also easily reach the city center by tram.

We were here over the weekend. The stay is very worthwhile. The furnishings are simply an eye-catcher - unique and loving. The entire guesthouse (although it is more like a hotel) was very clean. Practical for longer stays: the shared kitchen with fridge, free coffee/tea, baked rolls etc. The location is great in the old city center of Jena, very quiet but still with great connections to get from A to B quickly. The staff was extremely nice and helpful (reachable very quickly by phone). It was also practical that you could get your key using a code on the mailbox (so contactless and possible at any time). We were extremely satisfied and can only recommend the Artem Orbis to everyone!
