Beautifully located youth hostel. The outdoor area is ideal for children. We were there with the school. The staff is very friendly and we are very impressed by the good cuisine.

Great location, clean and friendly staff. Food was good, much better than I expected. Rooms are small, but functional along with the bathroom. Fly/mosquito screens would be good. Unfortunately, WiFi is really not good. If at all, then only in the reception area.

The place is really nice, you get a three-course meal. What is missing is perhaps more activities for kids and young people on the area in their free time and more cupboards in rooms.

It was very nice there, we stayed in this youth hostel for 3 years and everyone was very friendly! The nice thing about it is we are traveling on Wednesday and we are very happy Heike and Charly

To say it was terrible would be an understatement because it was horrific. The rooms are a nightmare in addition to the dirty rooms, it can also happen that flies stick in the corner of the wall. The shared bathrooms are almost the only nice thing there. The people/employees are extremely unfriendly. Then the food, the food is a disaster, it tastes incredible Bad food also looks incredibly disgusting and doesn't fill you up. It should also be mentioned that the food is repeated every other day, the cutlery is not cleaned properly and I got stomach pain, nausea and food poisoning from the food. I could only eat salad for days because the thought of eating gave me a stomach ache so has catastrophe. The WiFi was bad, very bad, you only got WiFi if you sat under the stairs by the girls' toilet and otherwise you hardly ever had even a bar. By the way, the WiFi is switched off at 8 a.m. My conclusion is please don't go there, it's horrible, there are spiders, raccoons etc. everywhere and the week I was there was the worst week of my life

The employees were very unfriendly. I saw a little girl who hadn't seen the prices for an ice cream and this woman at the kiosk said: "There's a sign so you can't miss it and you can read it too". The food was inedible and bland, the breakfast was quite good but the "lunch" and dinner were inedible. The rooms were DIRTY, there were dead flies and insects in the corners and in the lamp, the sinks in the rooms were also very very Dirty. The only clean thing was the showers, but there were spiders in the corners and it was uncomfortable to shower. And I'm not just writing for myself but also for 20 other people because I was in a large group of people and everyone had the same opinion.

Just bad on Videocamp.We had extremely small rooms that had no WiFi, the food was constantly repetitive, and when you did have WiFi it was the slowest I've had in my entire life.

We were in the youth hostel during a school trip. It was a good time and we also had a lot of programs that we could do there.It's a good hostel especially for the price.

Wonderful place for a confi leisure. The rooms are pragmatic and clean, the shared sanitary facilities are in high quality. Overall a very clean house. Super nice and helpful employees. Highly recommended!

Super nice team who always helped us with washing bottles.The rooms were as described and a baby cot was provided to us free of charge. The food was good and there was always enough and enough choice.The location is in a great location, with a short walk to eating options (if you stay in/around the hostel for lunch), to the boat dock and some play options along the lake. The games room in the hostel and the outdoor area were also very beneficial for us. All in all very family friendly :-)

The sanitary facilities have been modernized in parts of the hostel. This is very pleasant. Rich breakfast with fresh rolls and bread every day. Allergy sufferers and vegans are taken into account. When I checked in, I was “yelled at” because young people were playing behind me and the receptionist “called” them to calm down. Children who wanted to buy something at the kiosk between 9:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. had to wait, even though the staff was there. On Good Friday there was a barbecue and fish was not allowed. There are fewer and fewer believers in Germany, but meat on Good Friday is not for everyone
