I recently stayed a few nights. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The room was cost effective, large and comfortable. The food and the drink were good value, fast and very enjoyable. I recommend this hotel also for it's location near the autobahn, near Frankfurt and very close to the forest.

- As soon as you sit down, someone asks you what you want to drink- We first asked to look at the menu and see what was on offer.- why the stress, we wanted to have a leisurely meal, there was 1 table occupied.- the dishes ordered are1. didn't come at the same time2. partly cold3. no food/dishes for children on the menuafter which we answer the obligatory question:Did it taste good?These 3 points have to be criticized.There was no longer any service staff near the table.Then why the question?(Of course, we could have given the food back. What's the point if the plate is warmed up in the microwave?)- Whether we would like to have something to drink/dessert was no longer of interest, we were ignored.- The leftover food was uninvited and packed up and placed on the table (separately).For whatever reason.- After we asked if there really were no desserts, there was nothing on the menu.“Yes, then you have to ask”You still have a lot of room for improvementI felt like:“Stop, pay and go back”

A new opening always inspires new hope. For a long time it was not possible to eat a schnitzel or steak in the evening in town unless you turned to local delivery services.So we took the chance and treated ourselves to dinner in the newly opened inn a few minutes' walk away.The view from the terrace behind the building of the wooded hills of Waldaschaff goes perfectly with a cold beer or a wine spritzer.The number of visitors was manageable and we were served quickly. Very friendly staff, the new owners are making an effort. We felt in good hands and overall very comfortable.The food was great, burgers with fries and baked sheep's cheese.We'll definitely try more on our next visit.Pleasingly: the schnapps afterwards is surprisingly cheap. Overall, the price-performance ratio is right here.We'd love to come back.

We stayed in the inn for one night on our hike on the Spessartweg. It's on the main street. Since the room didn't face the street and there were few other guests in the house, it was quiet, meaning we could sleep well, which was most important to us. Otherwise you get what you would expect for 76 euros for two. A reasonably clean but unadorned room, a good TV, no soap in the bathroom or similar hygiene products, a breakfast that is very clear. I can't imagine a longer vacation here, but for the price, an overnight stay on a hike, on a business trip, as an overnight stop on the way south on vacation (the A3 runs directly past the town) is definitely an option.
