We weren't in the hotel, just for dinner. This was outstanding as always!

My review only refers to the restaurant.On the recommendation of a media-known chef and in search of a good gazpacho that was freshly made from fresh ingredients in every respect, I became aware of this restaurant, which is probably quite unknown in the gourmet scene but has been starred for quite a long time, and decided to go there spontaneously and with not too high a reputation Expectations visited incognito.The gazpacho was to die for! What a subtle, reference-quality dish made with high-quality ingredients.This was also the case with all the other plates. The majority of the menu has a traditional orientation that suits the guests, with a rather simple look that promises and delivers special quality.The menus (vegetarian and non-vegetarian), which change approximately every 6 weeks, seem more playful (I had the vegetarian menu), but are always based on high quality ingredients and a surprisingly high or deep level of culinary understanding and craftsmanship .The prices are appropriate for the quality. The service may need a bit to thaw out. I find the boss charming.I look forward to eating there again.

Thank you for this wonderful lunch menu at star level - great food, great service - and to be honest we were both full afterwards - the wine recommendation was an absolute pairing - there was only one downer - we had ordered a caffe macchiato - we got a small caffe latte - and there's a world of difference - a barista would also do the country inn good ;)) (but that's why it still gets 5 points)

Unfortunately, nothing matched here.I do not know where to start.Had dinner here yesterday and things went incredibly wrong and didn't add up.1. This restaurant has one star… I can't explain why! Had two timesThe vegetarian menu and the children's schnitzel.The vegetarian menus were maximally ambitious cuisine in terms of consistency, finesse and taste. The sauce from the Kinderschnitzel was super thin and watery.2. Waiting time!!! After the first courses came quickly, there was a huge break for the main course. Every table around us had its own courses, only we sat there with the child, who was getting more and more tired, for a whole 45 minutes and were allowed to wait! At least a lady from the service came and said it would still take a while... we had slipped into an event and the event would only be served... when I went to the toilet I saw the "event"... there were 14 people... For a restaurant I find it very surprising to talk about an event of this size! We were simply forgotten!! It does not work!3. Service: The only little ray of hope! We had two ladies who looked after us... both very hard-working and communicative, but... if drinks are not at the table to be poured (which is usual in real star restaurants) then the guest shouldn't have to sit in front of empty glasses for 10 minutes!But much worse... only a small portion of the children's schnitzel had been eaten; when we asked to have it packed up, it was taken away to be packed up. When we were finally finished after the extremely long waiting times and wanted the schnitzel... It said… “oops, unfortunately we threw that away”… sorry but that’s a no go!At least we were offered an espresso on the house as an apology... but we politely declined because after 3.5 hours for 4 courses we were correspondingly annoyed.Ergo: I am surprised by the high rating, as well as the star for the kitchen and service and… no recommendation.Nevertheless many thanks.

The hotel and restaurant are absolutely top!The staff is very friendly and helpful. Parking spots are available. It is very quiet. Highly recommended!!
