So...We arrived yesterday...and had to register with the Greek downstairs....We were led through the back yard (I don't want to go into that further)...We were able to park our bikes here...We were shocked when we saw the back yard...but we were pleasantly surprised by the rooms.Clean...nicely furnished...small...it was enough for one night...Negative: we had windows facing the courtyard...Food smells came up...The motion detector went on regularly in the evenings or at night...Curtains didn't darken...No traffic was heard, but there was the clatter of dishes... But after 10 p.m. it was quiet...Shared bathroom...not ours, but I overlooked that when booking...Didn't bother us...But some guests can't behave here either...(toilet seat left up...means for me, urinating while standing... doesn't work at all)...The bathroom was newly renovated, very, very clean...Breakfast...everything your heart desires...Very nice....Breakfast room bright and friendly...Overall, I can recommend the guesthouse...

Located in the middle of the fjord with walking distance to everything. From the railway station, to the fjord, to the pedestrian street, to the eastern part of the fjord and the eastern part of the city. Only downside a little too close to traffic. I had a single room which is almost always a bit small. But here the ceiling was high so it felt spacious. It was newly built or renovated. The bathroom was a little too small but well furnished. Missed a fridge and here is no air conditioning. Enough max value on a single room for the money I have experienced. The breakfast buffet was not so rich but ok. Good both polite and friendly service. The reception is temporarily on the 2nd floor (where the breakfast restaurant is also). It seemed that it will be moved to new buildings in the living room to the right of the restaurant, which was not ready. Information folder in the room was missing.

The simple guesthouse is located on the first and second floors of the house and has nothing to do with the restaurant. The breakfast room for the rich breakfast is on the second floor. The entire old building is very noisy. The location right at the top of the harbor is perfect. Unfortunately, the reception cannot be reached outside opening hours, even in emergencies.

I stayed at the Pension Hygge am Hafen for one night while passing through.The hotel is very centrally located and the pedestrian zone, harbor, theater and museums can be reached in just a few minutes on foot. The direct proximity to the central bus station is also a big advantage. The house is located on a busy street, which may disturb some guests. My room faced the back yard and I hardly noticed any traffic noise.The room was newly renovated and clean.Particularly noteworthy is the warm treatment of the guests. When the two ladies at reception found out that I had an 8-hour train journey home ahead of me, they immediately offered to make me a sandwich for the journey home and also gave me an apple to take with me on the journey.This shows that the well-being of the guests is the priority.

Centrally located opposite the harbor tip. Right on a multi-lane main road, which makes it very loud at night when the window is open.

Great starting point for a short trip to Flensburg. Central location near the city center and the fjord. The room (in my case a single room with a bathroom) was clean, functionally furnished, the price was ok and it was very quiet. Large, free parking lot directly behind the house, good Macedonian restaurant directly on the ground floor (reservation recommended), very friendly and helpful staff/pension management, breakfast very extensive and prepared and served with great attention to detail. Conclusion: The guesthouse is highly recommended for short vacationers or those traveling through.

The rooms are fine and clean. Unfortunately the internet does not work in the rooms, so we don't make a fuss about it. However, the family that runs the hotel lost our sympathy when they openly spoke negatively about us on the terrace of the hotel where we were also sitting. Assuming we don't understand German. Shame. Rule 1 when you run a hotel, you don't talk about guests in public!

Everything was tip top, rooms with new furnishings, bathroom was also new. Good food in the restaurant. Breakfast could be supplemented with scrambled eggs and bacon 😋. Very friendly staff.We'd love to come back.Thank you
