We were there today on October 26th. “Eat” there in 2024. The location is beautifully designed but unfortunately that's all!Spaetzle with sauce for the little ones is out of the package.When roasting pork with sauce:Dumplings watery and like the day before, red cabbage sour and not fully cooked, the meat was okay.Ribs with potato wedges:Potato wedges tasted like they had been made the day before and had only been warmed up briefly. The ribs tasted OK.Overall the food was only lukewarm.When I told you that the food tasted like it was from the day before, only one came, I'm sorry... done! The bill came in full. Not recommended, a shame for the money.

We were at the restaurant sharp today at 12:00 p.m. The ambience and the central location are very nice. Unfortunately the food wasn't at all. 3 dishes were too cold and tasted rather different from the presentation. In response to our comment, the staff told us that the food was always freshly prepared. For €52 we got 2 drinks and 3 not so great meals. Therefore only 2 stars.

We went there to eat because we liked the menu and the ambience. I had the roast pork which looked delicious. The positive thing is that there was a really generous portion for the price. The negative... it didn't taste like anything. The meat was overcooked and far from flavorful, the sauce was watery and bland, the red cabbage tasted like plastic and was over-seasoned and the dumplings simply tasted like water and not like potatoes. Unfortunately not recommended.

The food (hock and schnitzel) were average if anything. Not really recommended. Beer in a clay mug well below the calibration mark. Service average, cleaning starts at 8:45 p.m. Not again...

Haxe (Stelze) was huge and crispy with sauerkraut and two dumplings - hardly manageable. The farmer's salad with lots of sheep's cheese and fresh salads. If you're really hungry, this is the place for you.

If you're passing through Prussen, in charming Bavaria, Gasthof Krone is a must-stop. The restaurant not only offers traditional German cuisine that will take your breath away but also has a super charming medieval decor. From the cutlery to the mugs, everything follows a rustic aesthetic, creating a unique and engaging atmosphere.Starting with the food, the rustic presentation was just right for the restaurant's style. We tried everything, from appetizers to desserts, but I have to highlight the mushroom soup, which was divine. The pork knuckle was also excellent, well-seasoned and flavorful, though I was expecting the skin to be a bit crunchier. Still, it was a delicious dish!Moreover, the drinks are a show on their own. The craft beers they serve are a must-try. You can taste Bavaria's tradition in every sip.The service was attentive, with the staff paying close attention to detail, which made the experience even more enjoyable. And the best part? The prices are fair, considering the quality and the charm of the place.I highly recommend it! Every minute spent relaxing at this charming restaurant is worth it.

My wife and I had dinner at the Gasthof Krone in Füssen today, October 9th, 2024.We ordered 1 x gourmet salad and 1 x grilled ribs.To put it bluntly: the food was terrible.The salad was tasteless and of poor quality. According to the menu, the spare ribs should be grilled. Spareribs were delivered that were gray and bland. Apparently just pulled from a pot of boiling water and covered with a completely unseasoned barbecue sauce. They were the worst spare ribs I've ever been served.We should have returned the entire meal.If you want to eat well, you better not go to this inn!

We came there for dinner on Saturday at 8:30 p.m. Kitchen is only open until 9 p.m. We were initially ignored when we entered. Then served unfriendly. The food was simple. Partly dry.

We went to the Krone for dinner while strolling through the city in FüssenThe greeting wasn't exactly super friendly, we were assigned a seat and given the cards.The Flädle soup was only edible with a lot of pepper, as in my opinion the Kraft broth was a powder solution and not a boiled broth.The cordon bleu was in the pan a little too long and had a very thick crust; Fries were ok.There was also a relatively long waiting time with several requests to pay. So I think there are better places in Schuss if you do a bit of research.
