The SL Hotel is a bit hidden, but is ultimately only a stone's throw from the lake and is a good starting point for excursions in town or around Lake Tegernsee. At the back of the hotel you can see many square meters of green space, which makes it pleasant to get up.The staff was super friendly and always responded quickly afterwards (I was very happy to get a lost coat back by post very easily). The breakfast was sufficiently stocked at all times and was of high quality. The coffee with beans from the Dinzler roastery particularly stood out and rounded off the excellent impression.Just keep it up.Value for money ---> 10/10

I was visiting my husband in rehab and wanted a small hotel nearby. A super clean and newly furnished single room with a really large bed. There was a forest festival next door but the windows kept out a lot of noise. I've also had other travelers drag their suitcases down the stairs. But the SL Hotel can't do that. Bus 3 minutes away. The hotel is located directly on the lake. Parking lots available. Breakfast was great and everything was fresh. The staff super friendly. I'll be back

I regret to inform you that we will no longer be visiting your accommodation due to the discrepancy in price and perceived quality. It is unfortunate to note that the extra bed was only supported with wooden wedges and was charged at an inflated price, while the balcony was in an unacceptable condition. Given your hotel's alleged three-star rating, we find this price with its shortcomings to be unacceptable. For the same investment, we get a significantly higher standard in Kitzbühel, for exampleThis discrepancy between price and performance does not meet our expectations of innovative and modern hospitality in the Tegensee Valley.Regarding future stays, we/I will consider the Hotel Fackler instead on our next visit to Tegernsee (https://fackler-tegernsee.de/appartements-zimmer/).We would like to point out that we will take the liberty of rating your hotel online according to our experiences and feelings.It should be noted that the booking confirmation did not mention that it was a broom closet with an extra bed.Best regards,Dipl.-Ing. Very nice little guesthouse. Staff very friendly and helpful. The room could be cleaner. In the room safe there was still the instruction booklet from the assembly as well as the one-year-old booking documents from another guest. Unfortunately there were also a lot of spiders in the room. Otherwise the guesthouse was really very nice.

A small, fantastic and very charming hotel within sight of the lake. The welcome is warm and you immediately feel at home.The hotel makes a well-kept impression and the rooms are modern and comfortably furnished. The entire interior makes an excellent impression and you immediately feel welcome.

I wanted to relax over Easter and visit my husband in rehab! Unable to think about peace and quiet! Hardly slept on the first day, loud teenagers in the next room. On Easter Sunday, Nobel party from 12 p.m. at the Fischerhütte with loud music that was never heard anywhere else! (an impertinence) The spectacle was a complete disaster and then from 10 p.m. onwards there were drunk people in the hotel who were loud and had no decency. The positive: the rooms are nice and the breakfast is ok! The cleaning was catastrophic. It should also be mentioned that there was no excuse for there being a discount! Would never book this overpriced hotel again!

An absolutely contemporary hotel with Bavarian flair, plus extremely friendly staff. The sauna is the icing on the cake – a two-hour reservation is perfect. After an extensive mountain tour, we really relaxed here. A big thank you to the SL Hotel team. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

We stayed overnight on the way to Austria and were received incredibly positively, a nice room and brand new bathroom - very nice and clean. Beautiful balloon with a view of Tegernsee. Super nice breakfast buffet with a delicious selection. All in all, a really positive experience - the best recommendations from here. Will definitely come again.

First the positive:Arrival and registration are no problem.The building and the rooms have been beautifully renovated. There is a sauna in the basement that is relatively new and nicely done. We stayed in a room in the basement, since it was dark when we arrived and we were only there for one night, we accepted it that way...Anticipating the end, we found the end and our feeling of the stay to be a shame and regrettable, as the hotel complex and the outside view are beautiful and have a top location.Now the negative:Judging by the smell, the room probably hadn't been used for a long time. Unfortunately, the scent dispensers that were set up in the room didn't improve this either.Staff seem untrained, seem reluctant to take care of guests and are unwilling to provide adequate service (overwhelm? Lack of guidance?).We were looking forward to breakfast, but it was over very quickly the first time we went to the buffet. The presentation was a disaster, sausage, cheese, vegetables dried out, tarnished, old, dips covered in a dry layer, butter expired... Everyone in the room felt disgusted, the hotel was pretty well filled.No matter whether juice, cups, cutlery, rolls or eggs were empty, there was either no response to refill or only a cup for the person who asked when spoken to. When clearing took place, the tables were “wiped” superficially with a napkin.Unfortunately, the breakfast was limited to packaged foods, was monotonous and anything but worthy of a 3* hotel.Plus a room price of 180€ for 1 night... Value for money not available, our tip: Don't book!
