Room = claustrophobia for those who suffer from agoraphobia.There is no bathroom, just a shared shower with toilet, no TV or anything similar.To work with the laptop, there is only a board that is stapled to the wall that can be folded down and sockets are also in short supply.The bed is also highly recommended if you want to sleep on concrete.

The nice tea/coffee kitchen, the pretty and very practical room, the super comfortable mattress, the beautiful parquet floors, the extremely high-quality soundproofingSliding window to the balcony.I thought the transport connections were great!Stayed 4 nights and would love to come back.

I was a little afraid Seminarhaus would have this "hostel" vibe - and in fact, it was absolutely missing. This place has a very homey, almost exclusive spirit. It is extremely clean. The amount of shower/WC facilities is just right - there was no waiting involved, and I actually rarely saw other people in the common space (although I know they were there!).The rooms are well-isolated, I was ready for it to be noisy in the mornings or evenings, and again - it proved me wrong. I appreciated different (about 3) lighting options in the room and a balcony. If you are a solo traveller - there's no better choice!Also, the small shared kitchenette with all the amenities covers everything needed. But as some other reviewer pointed out, maybe an instruction on how to use some of those would come in handy.Should I add that the staff was extremely kind and welcoming, and the location is THE BEST?The only disadvantage is a somewhat early check-in at 10am - not always convenient but it can pass.

The single room was a bit small but ok and there was also a balcony. There was no TV but the WiFi was very good and stable. The sanitary facilities were always clean. Overall conclusion. It was quite good.

I always have problems finding reliable information and detailed reviews myself, so I hope my review can help others.I spent 3 nights here and was very satisfied. For the price I could only have stayed in hostels in Berlin, but I got a single room with excellent connections and location. Lockable showers, toilets with sinks and a large laundry area can be used together. I didn't meet anyone in the 3 days there, there wasn't even a trace of other guests in the hallway. Very interesting concept of single/double room in a modern meeting building, in which there are normal apartments on the first floor and temporary living is offered on the second floor. Absolutely unrecognizable from the outside, there is no reception, only a display indicates the name of the accommodation (probably due to finding problems)The accommodation is highly recommended for short but also longer stays of weeks!Location: located directly at a subway and tram stop. 20 minute leisurely walk to the Hackesche Höfe. Culinary discoveries abound within a 10-15 minute walk. Extremely quiet street, absolutely no traffic, well located away from the hustle and bustle of tourists. As quiet as a mouse at night.Room: I can only rate the single room (01) here. The size was perfect for me since I was out and about all day anyway, absolutely fine for one person.Positive: Closets with lots of storage space, small folding table, no television (if you watch television in Berlin you're doing it wrong 😀), underfloor heating (very pleasant after a shower). Balcony access, which connects all rooms on the side, is good for ventilation. I didn't meet anyone there during that time. Bed is big enough, towels are provided.Needs improvement: no mirror in the room, but a large white spot on the wall. Probably under renovation.No socket near the head/bed, but two around the room.Pillow extremely uncomfortable.General cleanliness and atmosphere:In 3.5 days I briefly met a person leaving their room. Otherwise it felt like I was the only one (which wasn't the case), it was so quiet. Before I arrived I was skeptical about the bathroom situation, but surprisingly it was very positive. Showers are spacious and could be locked from the inside, it looked clean. Toilets also looked like they were cleaned regularly. A small kitchen area can be used freely by everyone, and here too all the guests were very well mannered. There were no dishes lying around, everyone put their used dishes in the dishwasher. A small selection of tea is available, you can even use a small refrigerator and a kettle is also provided. Cutlery, cups and glasses are sufficiently available in cupboards. It is not cleaned every day and no new towels are provided. You might get new ones if you just ask nicely.If you can complain about that given the price; Don't look at the edge of the bed under the mattress... there's a lot of dust and lint lying around. Otherwise, the rooms were freshly furnished upon arrival.I would recommend this accommodation and hope that it will be available again on my next stay in the capital.
