An excellent place to stay for a short city break. The online check-in does feel a little soulless, but worked well for us. Before we arrived I was a little worried by the recent reviews talking about thefts, but having a safe in the room made me feel much more confident when we were there. In the end we were absolutely fine! It's quite a large block (five floors with about 5-10 flats per floor), so that may affect how safe you feel. The location is fantastic for exploring Berlin and the room had everything we needed for our stay (including a stove for cooking).Overall I'd recommend staying, Just be mindful of security; never say your room code out loud and you should be fine! We had no issues with noise either.

Everything perfect, comfortable room with everything you need. Very easy access and good location. Too bad about the pillows and the fact that the double bed was two singles pushed together, except for those details, a recommendable place.

Great location, but if the heating is broken and no repairs are made in the 3 days of your stay, even though it was reported from the start, that's not a blessing.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay at Numa Nook. The location is fabulous - right off the tram, five min walk to shopping, five min walk to Museum Island, 15 min walk to Alexanderplatz.Getting in and out of the building and room is easy and straightforward. The rooms are quiet and have everything you’d need including sink and stovetop. If you end up having an issue with your room, that’s when things are not so great. My first room had an issue and it was a nightmare getting it straightened out over WhatsApp because it ended up being four different conversations with four different people, but once I was in a new room it was fantastic.

As soon as I landed in Berlin I received an email from Numa. We cannot honour your fully paid booking. I even had received the self check in code! I was left stranded in a foreign city with no where to stay. I had booked months beforehand.I had a quick look to see what was available in the city. It was so fully booked. I was so stressed. At first I thought this was a scam email. This company had been hacked and I received many scam emails but I stayed loyal to my booking with Numa because I felt sorry for their loss of business. They told me Booking.com would be in touch which didn't happen for ages. In the end I found a really expensive hotel far out of the city for only one night. This was such a horrible experience and I'm so upset and disappointed.Booking finally emailed with a link for a similar hotel to book which was 1000E for 2 nights. The email said that Numa would pay the difference. Thank God I didn't book that because today Booking say they would have only paid 25E.How Numa could leave a customer stranded with nowhere to stay at such late notice despite full payment and loyalty is unacceptable. They didn't even give me a reason. I found out it was because they over booked their apartments. I've had an awful time in this city staying in a scary area at such a high cost to me. I'm beyond devastated. Really disgraceful Numa.

Me and my wife were staying at the hotel for the weekend - little did we know we were about to get robbed in it. Imagine our feeling when we walk into the room after a day out at the city and seeing all of it in a complete mess with everything of value missing - laptops, ipads, jewelry - all missing! We immediately contacted the police and the hotel. The policemen told us this happens regularly. We were not provided with any further details on what happened and how. We were informed that an insurer will take care of our case - after a month (more or less) they got back to us and told us this was our fault, as the the theif tried to enter in all of the rooms and only managed to get into our room!!! Imagine the audacity if this statement… wouldn’t recommend staying there.

We booked the room and had a good stay up until our room got broken into and robbed. Our room was situated on the second floor and you had to first access the building with a code, then another door with a code and then the room with a code. We contacted the numa nook service but got no help or support from them. Then we contacted The police. They were much nicer and told us that this happens often!!! Afterwards we were contacted by the numa nook insurance company and were told that we were at fault and responsible for the fact that a robber managed to get into the building, onto our floor and the into the room. I was surprised they didn’t ask us for some money as well. So please be careful when booking Numa!!!!!! The experience was truly horrible. After we got robbed and we’re blamed for it it’s safe to say that this was the most horrible stay!
