Very nice campsite with many attractions such as BMX track, football golf, water playground, mini golf, indoor swimming pool, indoor playground with bouncy castle, etc. and all of this is free and included in the price. Unfortunately, these are not easy to find, although there is a map of the area, there is hardly anything signposted and with the many small gravel paths that all look the same, they are not easy to find. Our children in particular had difficulties here. The lighting of the paths and squares could also be better; although there are lanterns, they are very far apart. The barrier times are also questionable; entry in the evening is only possible until 8:00 p.m., although the rest period only begins at 10:00 p.m. But that can easily be improved 😉. At the restaurant you should perhaps think about the quality that is served for the high prices (frozen schnitzel with fries - 18€ / children's frozen schnitzel with fries - 12€). The pizzas and pasta dishes are also expensive but taste OK.At Hegi you also notice that something is happening, the operators are beautifying, maintaining, clearing out, building new things, so everything is on the right track.But I can't resist making a comment: an electricity price of €1 per KWh is already significantly overpriced, stop the nonsense and don't calculate this utopian sum here! That was such a bad aftertaste when checking out.We'll be back and are excited to see what will happen by next year.

Nice, clean family camping site with really large pitches, we were in the autumn holidays and everything was very manageable. Small and cozy, rather out of the way. There is a lot for the children to discover and experience.

Wonderfully well-kept, family campsite with lots of entertainment for children (not used). Our daughter (2 years old) liked the indoor pool with the jungle area and the toddler playground best.Very clean sanitary facilities and washing up stations. Machine for cleaning the motorhome toilet cassettes in the middle of the site - great!Uncomplicated waste disposal & gray water emptying.Our pitch was a little away from the facilities, but that didn't bother us (we chose it ourselves) and was rather quiet and also very spacious.We really enjoyed it and regret that we only booked two nights.

The approach to the site is nice and wide and easy to drive. The turning loop at check-in is also great. The staff at the reception on site are friendly, but unfortunately I received no response to my two email inquiries.The place is beautifully laid out and the parking spaces are spacious.The indoor pool can get full marks in the children's area!I also thought the free use of the dishwashers and the CamperClean station was great!What was noticed negatively, however, was that there were “leftovers” from days gone by at various points. For example, the turnstile in the entrance area of the swimming pool, which is no longer used. the entrance area looks a bit bad.Selling electricity for €1 per kWh in the winter season is really excessive. It doesn't work that way.Otherwise pretty much everything is available for a fee. Ponny riding, alpaca tour, Kettcars, late check out)What is also noticeable is that there is a laminated piece of paper with a prohibition sign on every corner. That doesn't look nice. There has to be order, but not on 1000 pieces of paper that are laminated and “mounted” with tape.The "petting zoo" was a bit disappointing, it's more of a goat and sheep enclosure where you can pet the animals through the fence. Because of the prohibition sign with a lot of content at the entrance, it is not clear whether you are allowed in or not)Conclusion: I wouldn't give the place 5 stars, but I would give it a justified 4 stars. All in all it was very nice, but some corners still need to be improved to maintain the standard.

We were basically happy on the pitch. The staff in reception and shop are very friendly. The parking spaces are sufficiently large.What I personally didn't like was that there was only one lockable washroom in the sanitary building near reception. However, the nearest sanitary building is not far away, so you can absolutely live with it.It was always nice and warm in the sanitary buildings, which was particularly pleasant on our holiday with wet and cold weather.Our children also really liked the animation; there were always interesting offers.The swimming pool is also recommended. Our children had a lot of fun in the beautifully designed children's landscape.However, we find the price of electricity too expensive. From September 11th to May 1st, this will no longer be charged as a flat rate and you will pay 1.00 euros per kWh. We think that's far too high. Because of this, we would no longer go to Hegau Camping during the corresponding period.

We stayed at the Hegau campsite for 5 nights at the end of September as absolute camping beginners with a borrowed caravan with our 14-month-old daughter. The possibilities, even for a child as young as our daughter, are almost endless. The swimming pool, especially the children's area, is incredibly varied for the kids, lovingly designed, spacious and very clean, including the changing area. We could hardly get our daughter out of the play tent and the outdoor playgrounds are great too. The water playground outside, the minigolf and soccer golf courses, the Espelsee with a petting zoo, etc. also make a great impression, unfortunately we couldn't use some of it due to the season and weather.The lady at the reception was friendly and even pointed out to us that our preferred spot was far away from the sanitary building and that we could choose another spot if that bothered us. I would have liked to have been informed that rows E01-E09 are directly adjacent to the training ground of the local football club, that the floodlights are on almost every day and that training is often very loud. This was a problem, especially with small children who go to bed early. Of course, the training area is marked on the map as a “football field”, but we assumed in advance that it was the campsite’s soccer field and that it would be quiet in the evening.The sanitary facilities, the changing area in the swimming pool and the washing up facilities were always clean, although the number was very small. In the evening it was already quite full in the changing rooms of the swimming pool and, given the high season, I could imagine that there were not enough sanitary facilities. However, we had no problems here due to the season.If we decide to permanently opt for the “camping” type of holiday, we will definitely come back and look forward to being able to play, run around and have fun with our daughter again in a wide variety of areas. The bottom line is that the campsite is highly recommended for families, at least in the low season 👍

Top for families, the offering is second to none. Anyone looking for peace and quiet should avoid the place.There is a good reason why there is a driving ban at 8 p.m. During the season, the children meet at the roundabout and there is often an evening program there. There are children playing everywhere else too. It is therefore right to ban car traffic. The space isn't so big that you can't walk from the parking lot to the parking space when the barriers are closed.From around 10 p.m. quiet returns.The only point of criticism is the sanitary facilities.Too few and therefore very busy. The cleaning staff can't keep up at all.What is particularly noteworthy is that there are no varying prices during the season. It's always a season, so a price that we think is fair. Especially for families who can only go on vacation during the school holidays. For off-season vacationers this is of course a little more expensive compared to other places. But there are Acsi offers.We'll be back next year in August :-)

This campsite is one of our favorite places. There is a lot on offer for children. Indoor swimming pool, indoor play hall, petting zoo, children's entertainment, great playgrounds, mini golf, adventure golf and all of this is included in the price. The campsite is well maintained and clean. Our recommendation is to book early

Very nice campsite that is ideal for children even in bad weather. Our children are almost impossible to get out of the indoor play tent. And if you do, you can go to the indoor swimming pool on site, and when the sun comes out, there's mini golf or the petting zoo for a change.We definitely won't be here for the last time, because the sanitary facilities are clean and well distributed, so you never have to go very long to relieve yourself.

Very nice campsite. Ideal for families with children. Indoor swimming pool, mini golf, swimming lake. Horses, alpacas, everything that makes children's eyes light up.We've been there a few times. It was nice and the staff seemed friendly too. Last time with a camping club that consists mainly of seniors. With sometimes incomprehensible regulations about noise, singing and playing music etc. It was assumed that we would behave like drunk rowdy brothers. A couple who only came to the Campino for dinner registered properly and wanted to bring us two cakes at half past five in the afternoon. But when they had to pay €21 just to quickly greet us, he sarcastically said he didn't want to buy the place. This went down badly with the receptionist, so she immediately banned us from sitting. Incomprehensible. How could it have been a little friendlier? Go to your colleagues and bring them the kitchens and then enjoy your meal at the campsite. We all didn't think that was right.

The reception is very friendly and helpful.The campsite makes a very well-kept, spacious impression.The parking spaces for mobile homes are flat, solid, partly gravelled and overgrown with grass, numbered but not parceled out. Electricity connections and water pumps are in the immediate vicinity.The place offers plenty of recreational opportunities, too many to list here.You can buy bread rolls without pre-ordering, and there is also a restaurant (Campino - I reviewed it separately).I only visited the sanitary building number 2 near the entrance, which makes an extremely clean impression! No dirt, no mold, no cobwebs with spiders in the corners and on the ceiling, disinfectant everywhere, equipment available without exception, warm, everything intact, bright... - everything is fine. Even the washing up area on the outside of the building is always clean. Many other campsite operators can learn a lot from this!We pay €27 per night with the Acsi-Card including electricity and WiFi for a motorhome with two people.

We have been going to Hegi with the children every summer for years. There is always something new being built or renovated. Everything is in very good condition and is cleaned several times a day.For the children there is a playground (the only sand playground was unfortunately demolished when the water playground was built), an outdoor water playground, normal mini golf and adventure mini golf, a BMX track, a dog playground (!), and an indoor swimming pool with a gigantic, new toddler area and, for bad weather, a large play tent with an indoor climbing world. There is something to do in the kids club almost all day long. There is a swimming lake and a petting zoo. The Italian at the entrance is also very good. If you arrive too early or want to go to the restaurant or swimming pool again on the day of departure, you can park the caravan outside in a waiting parking space. All entertainment (except the box cars in the games tent) is free for guests. And just outside the door is Steffi's Hegi Ranch, where the children can go horseback riding or the whole family can go on alpaca hikes.The pitches are comparatively large, so there is enough space to play and run around everywhere.It is a place designed for families. Anyone who wants to lie quietly and completely undisturbed in the sun is wrong. But the place is perfect for families.

What a nice campsite this is! Good entertainment for the kids, lots to do. Also a very nice indoor swimming pool for when the weather is bad.We were only here for a few days but we regretted not booking lower.
