A real gem among hotels!We had the pleasure of staying at this family run hotel and it was simply amazing! From the warm welcome to the attentive service, you immediately notice that the owners are passionate about what they do. The hotel exudes a warm and inviting atmosphere in which you immediately feel at home.The rooms were not only comfortable and spotlessly clean, but also decorated with great attention to detail. The breakfast was rich and with many regional delicacies - you can feel the special touch of the house here. The personal care and the many small touches make the stay an unforgettable experience.We will definitely come back and can recommend this hotel to anyone who appreciates a family atmosphere and excellent service. A big thank you to the owners for making this place so special!

This hotel is awesome. Rarely have we been so satisfied, but everything is just right here. The hotel is located in an old gem and jewelry factory. The owners have spent years renovating and preserving this time-honored buildingcarried out and many machines can still be admired in the basement rooms. It's great how much passion was put into this. We are very happy to have stayed here and can stay again

The Villa Horbach is a hotel that can only be recommended. The entire house has been renovated and furnished very tastefully with great attention to detail. We were guests with a group and were welcomed and accommodated in a very friendly manner. The hotel owners and all the staff are very friendly. The price-performance ratio is right! The location of the hotel is ideal. The center of Oberstein can be easily reached on foot. It's better to go to Idar by car, bus or plan some time. The breakfast is rich and very nicely prepared. We would come back at any time!

Absolutely 5/5 rating for these guys. Very awesome to work with. Really great place and great service. They are on a main drag of town which is nice for getting into the freeway quick but also traffic starts early and if you have your windows open you’ll hear em. Perfect walking distance to some nice restaurants. My wife and I enjoyed our stay and would 100% stay there again. Highly recommend.

Very friendly and attentive staff.Original decoration but not finished.Vastly excessive price!Disappointing breakfast, no croissant or pastries. Aldi type products.Lots of stairs and no elevator. No air conditioning. Not ideal situation.Rating of 10/10 on hotel.com incomprehensible to me...

The best hotel I have visited in Idar-Oberstein so far!The Villa Horbach is a small, recently renovated guest house, which, due to the character of the building and the preservation of the original structure, offers a variety of rooms and hardly looks like a hotel. My room was only missing a beautiful picture above the bed for the perfect “at home feeling”. The parking lot and house are connected by stairs and require a street crossing. The noise in the room is okay thanks to the roller shutters, but of course not at the level of a new building. The breakfast is varied and is rounded off individually.The location makes it possible to reach Oberstein on foot. To Idar and other destinations in the region you should use the car or plan a little time. There is no perfect location in Idar-Oberstein due to local conditions.

We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Horbach. The staff is very friendly and we felt very comfortable. The beautiful interior design and especially the staircase and the salon create a lovely ambience. In some places there are sweets where you can help yourself as you go up and down. Which I found to be a very nice gesture. There is a small refrigerator in the room and in the living room. The one in the salon was filled so that you could help yourself here. I also found that to be very well thought out. We can recommend the hotel with a clear conscience. Thanks to the hotel team for the pleasant stay.
