Given the price, I thought it would be an adventure. I wasn't disappointed:What can I say: If you want cheap, you get cheap. I didn't expect anything at that price. The spider's nest on the ceiling surprised me, but it wouldn't have surprised me in a tent at the campsite. The window was cool: after 5 minutes I got it open, more than I expected: it was set to tilt and open at the same time - it just hung on one corner in the frame. It must have been like this for a long time because the plaster in the window reveal at the top right of the half-hanging window was already heavily scratched off. (Room 34 in the back building). The owner apparently only has it repaired/replaced when it is finally unusable. Quite a way to live sustainability! I'm not sure if breakfast was included in the price. I got breakfast at a hardware store about a kilometer away. That was very good. The man on the phone wasn't very friendly, but he was correct. The man who showed me the way to the room was quite friendly. In front of the house I was able to park my van and trailer almost directly in front of the hotel, there are no parking problems.I didn't check the functionality of the refrigerator and didn't even open it. The bed linen was at least visually clean, as were the towels. The siphon/gulli in the corridor to the rooms didn't quite fulfill its technical purpose; it smelled a bit.In front of the window there is a green strip, approx. 2 meters wide, running along the wall of the building. Wild blackberries grow there. A great burglary protection system, no one goes in there voluntarily. Not even with long pants! So: If you want to experience something and are not a hot shower: just try it. Then you can really appreciate your hut at home again!Everything doesn't always have to be new. But I was missing some love for the building. If you attach a clothes rack with just one screw instead of 3 and the part is crooked, then in my opinion it's laziness. And the garbage, broken bicycles and other junk in the courtyard doesn't have to be that way. Just lift your butt and do something.

I don't know if it has been repaired in the last few weeks or months? But a little further is the Hotel Specht “like day and night” that I can recommend. As I said, it was a disaster, unfortunately...

So my brother and I came to Dortmund because the game was clearWe only needed a shower and another bed wasn't important to us.When we arrived there was no one because we had to wait 30 minutes for someone to comeWhen we fully booked we had to call him 10 times before someone called back. You are supposed to book out at 11 a.m. and no one is in the reception. At some point he calls me and says sorry, I was taking a shower and didn't hear the phone. It was really dirty in the room, at least we got fresh bed linen. It was dirty everywhere in the roomLuckily I didn't get anythingSo never go there again

When I read the reviews, we were relatively lucky... We booked the room because it was close to the stadium and relatively cheap. The surroundings and the exterior of the building as well as the hotel corridor are terrible. The curtain could also have been better. The room, on the other hand, was clean and the bed was very comfortable. There was also a TV and a refrigerator in the room, which was very good. The bathroom was okay, but a few tiles were missing and the heating was dirty. Otherwise everything was fine for the price.

If I could give it 0 stars. I am a fitter and booked a room in this house by phone two days ago. When I asked for confirmation, I was told that I could just come by on Monday. I would just have to call the gentleman if I am there if he is absent. After a 13 hour day at work I went to this house and called Mr. The answer I got was that all the rooms were fully booked and there was no room for me. I was angry and asked him for an alternative overnight accommodation. Answer: I have no idea, I'm sorry, THEN HE JUST HANGED UP. Hopefully a lot of people will read these reviews and act on them.
