Very good hotel, top service and good value for money. The spacious wellness area with fitness equipment, the restaurant and a varied breakfast round off this very good overall package. The location is very good for me because the hotel is very quiet and from there you can quickly go on racing bike tours in the countryside. Dortmund can be reached quickly by car.

Our wonderful break in the beautiful Spa & Wellness Hotel. Quality time at its finest.From the pool and whirlpool to the sauna and the massage, we enjoyed the day so much with prosecco, passion fruit spritzer, coffee and fresh lemon water. My highlights were… the salt crystal sauna and the pure back massage with peeling and mud pack. 🤩If you're looking for relaxation, you've come to the right place. We will definitely come back. I actually wanted to rate the hotel and spa separately, but that doesn't seem to be possible here.In my opinion, the spa area is the only area of ​​the hotel with an appropriate price-performance ratio and deserves five stars in all categories. As part of a short vacation at l'Arrivée, my husband and I went there several times and enjoyed a total of five treatments with which we were extremely satisfied. It was pure relaxation! The offer is varied and the ladies who carry out the work are very competent.However, I have one point of criticism: for a hammam ceremony you should report to the spa reception 15 minutes in advance. I was then told that the time would be used to briefly relax in the swimming pool or sauna. It seemed pointless to me because the ceremony was supposed to start in the steam room! So I waited for the time - and was taken straight to the hammam. I should have used the 15 minutes to visit the steam room on my own. Communication obviously needs to be worked on here.Otherwise the hotel was a big disappointment. The description of the room (studio) on the website is incorrect in several points. The photo is not similar. There is no laminate flooring, just carpet. There are no sun loungers on the balcony, but a sofa and two armchairs (although they are very comfortable). Since there is no parasol or similar, we were only able to use the balcony temporarily.Furthermore, there is neither a cloakroom nor a luggage rack in the room. The wardrobe is tiny. We only got clothes hangers upon request. A repairman came in because his knock wasn't answered quickly enough, only to find out that he was in the wrong room. One employee ignored the "Do Not Disturb" sign because she needed to know how many rolls of toilet paper we had left; However, the additional role requested was not delivered. The socket in the so-called laptop safe did not work, and the inside of the safe door was repaired with adhesive tape. Etc. pp. I think at over €200 per night you can expect more!What was also annoying: Since I don't have any credit cards, I had to pay for the room in advance and every other service immediately.
