A nice little hotel in "the middle of nowhere". Very secluded and cozy. Original room with a four-poster bed. Very tasty, rustic cuisine. A place to relax where we felt comfortable.

Beautifully located hotel in the middle of nature. We stayed here for three nights and hiked in the source region. The breakfast is very good and the selection and quality of the food in the restaurant was also very good. We'd love to come back.

The food tastes really good, even if you're a bit stuck in time when it comes to food. More modern vegetarian dishes (except spaetzle) wouldn't be bad.And a new homepage would also be mandatory. It's not even adapted for mobile use, which is very embarrassing in 2024!

The three of us came here to cycle the Lahn cycle path. The reception was friendly and there was also a bicycle garage. The room was an apartment a little older but comfortable and in tip top order. Two bedrooms, a living room. The food in the restaurant was very good and also had a good price/performance ratio. We felt very comfortable here.

The homemade lemonade and the cake are a poem. Really highly recommended whether you sit inside or outside. Service is very nice.

Location:I have never slept more peacefully on work - room facing the small lake. The remote location, which is great for day trippers and hikers, is rather disadvantageous for business travelers...Wi-Fi wasn't really usable. However, it would be difficult enough to have internet at the location at all.Room:The room screamed of being from the 90s. Everything was clean, but you don't aim to be modern in any way. Unless other rooms are furnished differently.Restaurant: The service staff was very friendly and personable and had a nice saying for each table.The food was good, although the plate was a bit playful (crushed pepper and salt as decoration that slips into the sauce on the way to the guest can also mess it up). The menu is very varied and extensive, but somehow very confusing and very simple for the good and sometimes special food selection. But in the end it has to taste good.Praise to the chef and service!Wellness: I would have liked to have known in advance when booking that the sauna costs separately or read it when booking. The fact that you could only pay in cash becomes a problem when the next ATM takes half an hour's drive. The wellness room... They make an effort (clean, drinks are available), a bit cramped... but here too, the showers etc. could be rejuvenated to make the whole thing more inviting... It's all just complaining at a high level!Breakfast: PRAISE!!!The apparently very young service employee (I guess he only works during the holidays 😉 ) was at least as friendly as the colleague the evening before. Breakfast selection great!The probably homemade jams and also honey (?)...mega!!! And I haven't had such good coffee in a long time!!!The great view is the icing on the cake... everything you need is there.
