Beautiful rooms, well furnished with air conditioning, box spring bed, rain shower and coffee machine (unfortunately only 3 capsules, we forked out for one of them ;-))Great location on the Bigge. You can have breakfast next door at Extrablatt or get something at Lidl, which is a 10-minute walk away. Parking spaces in front of the door.We felt extremely comfortable!

The hotel cannot be reached by telephone. The telephone in the hotel works, I tried this to the annoyance of the receptionist on site. I then asked why no one had been reachable by phone in the hotel for days, and she replied annoyed, “What’s the point?” He gave us the bill and the room key, briefly explained the way to the room in an unfriendly manner and said goodbye. When we arrived in the room we discovered that it had not been cleaned well. The room smelled very musty. Since we were there on business, we just put our things down and set off again. When we came back to the room later the smell had gotten even worse. The reception was no longer manned. We couldn't spend the night because of the smell and left again. We have already described the situation to booking and are now hoping to get our money refunded. The hotel itself has a great location with the lake in front of it...but it doesn't seem to be run particularly well. We won't be coming back!

The location at Biggesee is very nice. You can park in front of it. Our deluxe room with a terrace facing the lake is great. But the cleanliness of the outside area is dingy. The sofa was so dirty (insects, dead and alive, feces...). You have two blankets that you throw over it, but a strange taste remains. The windows weren't clean either. Everything in the room was great. But you book it because you want to spend time outside.

Overall, the hotel scores particularly well with its idyllic location right on the lake. But be careful! Not all rooms have a lake view - the rooms at the back have the train line directly in front of their noses and the trains can be heard very well.The restaurants (Brauhaus & Extrablatt) within walking distance are very convenient, as is the very good parking situation thanks to the uncomplicated, free parking directly at the house. Also worth mentioning during our stay was the cleanliness of the rooms and the good quality of the beds.In summary, we can only rate the accommodation as average and represent poor value for money for the service provided (i.e. what has nothing to do with the great location, the free parking spaces or the nearby restaurants). (109 €/ night/ 2 people.)The equipment itself is modern, but unfortunately not of high quality. Although the accommodation is relatively new, the inventory has already suffered significantly.The decoration is nice but a bit soulless.Classic coffee machine situation: 2 overnight guests and only 3 coffee capsules... :- (As a late check-in guest, we found the telephone communication to be quite unfriendly when we called late in the afternoon on the day of arrival and asked when the PIN for the key safe would arrive. (After all, the reception is only open until 7 p.m.). :-(The maid was already at the door at 10:00. Check out time is 11:00... :-(So I deserve 3 stars - but there's still a lot of room for improvement to turn guests into real, returning fans who don't just come because of the beautiful location on the lake!

It's not that easy to get to this hotel - if the navigation system isn't up to date. The next difficulty is finding the reception. It's too easy to drive past it. The reception was friendly and competent. …

Beautiful hotel in a well thought-out complex. Parking was free with the ticket!We didn't even have to go to reception, we were given a code for the key box and in it was the Salto chip that you can use to open the door.Good concept 👍🏽

A great hotel with beautiful and large rooms. Parking options directly in front.Unfortunately there was no breakfast available because the Cafe Extrablatt next door doesn't have any space available on Saturdays or Sundays for weeks.If necessary, this could have been pointed out when booking.Opposite on the other bank there is a road and directly behind the hotel there is a railway line. However, neither is very busy.Good restaurants and a large swimming pool within walking distance.All in all, highly recommended.
